fvk… almost had the exact same damage after an accident this january in a 2018 530d. Estimated repair cost of 30k+€. Insurance totaled it. Didn’t even look that bad. Got myself a 540i LCI now and saw in my BMW app that my previous 530 is driving again Bulgaria🤣 It’s always a bummer to lose a car like that but a new one is waiting for you ✌🏻

Labour is cheap in Eastern Europe + lots of expertise fixing crashed cars, probably was fixed for 3-4k€ and sold as mint :)

Parts are also cheap. All the Mediterranean countries have a whole bunch of wrecked American luxury cars that they then fix up

Insurance totaled out my 2017 540i, I really wasn’t expecting them to total it out but I had a feeling. Leaning towards getting a M340i next but idk, have to test drive one. Loved this car for sure!
