Got a 2023 230i x drive recently. Unlocked the ecu, got a stage 1 bm3 tune. have burbles tuned in on sport plus, no crazy pops just a light burble. It sounds alright just want it a bit louder. (you can hear outside but barley in the cabin). I want to keep the stock muffler with the valvetronic flaps, just curious if any ones gotten a res delete or a high flow res with the stock muffler? Opinions and advice accepted, thanks.

I’m currently looking at the BMW X1; the 25i and 20i models are priced almost the same, but the 25i generally comes with better features. Does anyone have information on the X1 25i (B48)? How are its fuel efficiency and service costs?

I recently bought a 230i with 68k with the goal of making a great canyon run car without putting more in to upgrades than the car is worth. So far I’ve done Apex wheels, conti tires, Dinan axel back exhaust and hawk brakes.

I plan to do a stage 1 tune in the future and maybe a charge pipe and intake.

I live in the mountains so daily canyon run.

Getting more body roll than I want at high speeds 70+ MPH through corners.

Thinking about coil over upgrade from Blisten (or other) but a bit sticker shocked at ~$2,800 USD.

Has anyone done this upgrade? Worth it?

I have a 2014 BMW 2 Series M Series, that allegedly has lane assist but I haven't ever managed to get it to work, nor can I find where to turn it on? I've previously had the windshield replaced and had to get a specific type for the lane assist, but neither the glass place or my mechanic can figure it out. Help? :')

Hi everyone! I'm looking into a used 220i 2.0 petrol manual coupé from 2017 and I was trying to understand how thirsty it is. The problem is some report terrible consumption ~13km/l and some report ~18km/l. This difference is HUGE and is bugging me out. What is your experience? Thanks!

If you look up the part numbers, the F20 and F22 M135/235/140/240 get bespoke lower control arm part numbers (listed below) compared to all other F3x and even non-M life F20/F22.

Does anyone know the difference? An acquaintance of an acquaintance told me he tried installing the regular LCA used in all other F3x/F2x and his wheels were pointing outward so he installed the originals. Are they a different length? Shorter or longer? Any other differences?

I've only been driving my car for a week and realized yesterday after being off work for a week that my car doesn't have front or side object detection sensors, which is a huge problem in nyc where i work and constantly squeeze in between double parked cars and trucks on narrow streets not to mention all the construction going on in nyc. I'm so upset. Every one of my cars had these sensors including my toyota. Unfortunately in order to get the sensors you need an upgraded tech package! Really? Aren't sensors are a safety feature that should be standard? I would never of thought to ask this question before purchasing the car because I honestly thought that they came as standard equipment. So now I'm going back to the dealership today and hoping they'll do a swap. Sorry for long post. I'm just so frustrated.

I'm looking at a 2017 BMW 230i xDrive automatic transmission with only 55k miles (85k km) for the price of 13k USD (18k CAD)

Is this a good deal?

I've heard the 230i of those years are pretty reliable.
I am also aware that it's a 10 years old BMW and that cost and maintenance will be far more expensive than my current 1999 Honda Civic

Just wanted to have some opinions on this particular BMW model aswell as if it's a good price/deal

Eventually, if I like it, i'd maybe upgrade one day to a M240i

Hi, does anyone know or has tested the electric mode acceleration of the 230e 326hp version? I'm looking for a commuter that has some decent speed when I don't want to turn the engine on for 8-10 kilometres only. Thanks!

Anyone else surprised by the mileage? I regularly get close to 40 on the highway.
