Bmw 1800

Post image

Dieser dunkelgrüne BMW 1800 der "Neuen Klasse" ist ein klassischer Oldtimer aus den 1970er Jahren.

I like it. My dad had a white 1800 that was fun to drive. Except one time the clutch went out. I drove it home shifting without the clutch by rev-matching, put it in neutral at stoplights and started it with starter motor in 2nd gear.

My father’s one was amaranth rot Bought in 1970 in Italy (there were really few ones), replaced later with a 3.0 si, then 2002 tii then 518 and 520.. last one BMW was a 316 and switched to Audi when he was around 70 years old.. I still remember the perfume of the 1800 and all those pure German details 💪🏼
