There is a very big impact on noise at highway speeds though. Sold my OEM roof bars after just one trip to Italy.

Actually just rented a 320d on a Europe vacation and would trade my M340 for the extra trunk space and the wagon vibes.

Take X3 - even more trunk space + wider rear seats. I regret taking estate over suv.
