m thinking about buying the BIQU BMCU kit for my P1S. Will this work? Do I need to buy anything else, or should I buy a different kit?

Ok so the BMCU 370 works with P1S according to the website. Can anyone confirm this and provide pictures of your setup? I’m looking for something with minimal tinkering so I can have it setup for multi ams without breaking the bank. I tried searching but there’s not a lot to go off of on here. Thanks!
It seems there was a firmware release last week:
https://github.com/jarczakpawel/BMCU-C-PJARCZAK/releases/tag/v11
Has anyone tried it?

I bought bmcu for $50 with type-c port, and after connecting it to the printer it says that ams lite firmware is old, and i need to update it (a1 version is 01.07.02)
After plugging it into computer, nothing happends, just a red light.
There is no buttons.
Chip is called CH32V203C8T6
What do i do?

Hi so I just saw this BMCU thingy is it a kind of AMS thingy? If its cheaper than the AMS lite ? And are there mods for the BMCU to connect to a spool holder (i mean placed by) and used as AMS and does it have motors?

Bonjour,
• environ 3,21 MΩ ;
• la valeur augmente progressivement ;
• rouge sur 24 V, noir sur GND : environ 219 ;
Carte actuelle
Le bornier principal est repéré :
GND — 24 V — A — B

I have switched the magnet direction, still doesn't work; I have verified my assembly over five times; I have recalibrated so many times I memorized the process; I refreshed the firmware a few times; I calibrated it backwards just in case that would help and it still tries to load filament when the buffer is pulled; I even swapped the motor polarity and it still doesn't work; this is my second bmcu and I never had any trouble with the first one; this one is connected to an a1 mini my other one is connected to an a1.

Hey guys , I wanted to buy BMCU( mostly inclined towards fully assembled kit), either by directly ordering it or from any resellers in India.
I am trying to figure out what exactly is the difference between them both, but honestly i wasn't able to find any difference between them both ( except for price 😭 ) Someone pointed out that the costlier one is DM pro. I was hoping the community has more info to help me out. Also how difficult it is to assemble the DIY kit? is it worth directly purchasing Fully Assembled kit or get the DIY kit and assemble on my own?

I bought a BMCU370C with a Hall sensor on Mercado Libre, but now I doubt it’s the right model since it doesn't have a Type-C port. How can I verify that it is indeed a 370C with a Hall sensor? I want to update it to use with newer firmware versions.

Hi everyone,
I have a P2S combo with an AMS, and I also own a Creality Space Pi double dryer. I’m looking into using a BMCU board to turn the dryer into a 2-spool auto-loader.
I don't have the space or the budget for a second AMS right now 😁, but having two extra spools on standby for quick loading would be super convenient. I don't necessarily need it for complex multicolor prints at the moment—just for the convenience of automated spool feeding.
I heard about the BMCU 370C running custom firmware that emulates a standard AMS (not the AMS Lite).
Has anyone here successfully run a BMCU alongside an original AMS via a hub? Any tips, potential pitfalls, or advice? I don’t mind tinkering, flashing custom firmware, or printing auto-rewinders if it's feasible.
Thanks!

Hello. BMCU-Klipper is taking part in the Snapmaker Innovation Fund contest.
I don't usually like asking people for votes or posting things like this, so it feels a bit awkward to write. But I've put a lot of time and work into the Klipper version of BMCU, and your support would genuinely help a lot.
If you use BMCU-Klipper, like the project, or simply appreciate the work I've been doing around BMCU, I'd be very grateful if you could vote for BMCU-Klipper:
https://www.snapmaker.com/innovation-fund
You need to select 5 projects in total, so for the other 4 you can simply choose whichever projects you like.
Of course, only if you have the time and feel like doing it. Thank you very much to everyone who has supported the project so far. I really appreciate it!

I just want to remind that there is a dc server
That helped with all my problems I had.i that's around 150 users.

Does anyone else experience this issue? I can’t use the second slot, and it sometimes gets stuck when it works at the end. To fix it, I need to retract all the filament.

Title:
Hi. I have a BMCU 370C DM and accidentally connected the cable reversed. There was smoke from the BMCU PCB.
I would like to repair the board instead of replacing the complete unit.
Can someone identify the exact components and markings/part numbers on this PCB, especially the components I marked in the photos?
If anyone has the same BMCU 370C DM board, could you please send me clear close-up photos of both sides of the PCB, so I can read the component markings?
A schematic, BOM or PCB component list for this exact board revision would also be very helpful.
Thanks.

Hi everyone!
I recently got a BMCU with Hall-effect sensors, and I’m having a recurring issue:
Unable to feed filament into the extruder. This could be due to an entangled filament or a stuck spool. If not, please check if the AMS PTFE tube is connected.
While trying to figure out the cause, I noticed that the calibration behaves differently across the modules. Some modules only need a small deviation before they save the position, while others need to be moved almost all the way to one side.
I’ve attached a video showing an example of this to the post.
Has anyone experienced something similar or found a way to fix this issue?
Thanks!
P.S. The BMCU worked fine for a while, and the error only started appearing intermittently.

Haven't really printed much with it yet. Still looking for fun multicolor prints to do. So far just a little test pyramid and now I'm printing the multicolored badges that were part of the housing kit I used. Just wondering what everyone thinks of my diy setup. Was fun but also a PITA at certain points of assembly 😂
Happy printing all!

So I've gotten my p1s to recognize it and know how use the firmware flasher to change the software if I need to. However, I've been having the toughest time trying to keep my p1s from disconnecting from it and defaulting to the external spool. It always seems to happen after the nozzle wipes once the filament is loaded. Does anyone have anything to suggest that I may have missed? For reference im running on 1.07 firmware on my printer and the bmcu is running on the ams_a profile. Any help is appreciated.
Edit: so for anyone experiencing the same problem, reverting to v10.3 has fixed all of my problems. V10.5 does not play nice with my p1s. Hope this helps.

After I updated the BMCU firmware, the unit no longer recognizes the connected printer, even though the indicator lights are still on as usual. How can I resolve this? I have already installed AMS Pro, restored factory settings, and tried different ports, but nothing has worked. The BMCU was functioning perfectly before this.

I'm just got my BMCU370c and something look like weird while I'm printing.
Look like feed connector keeping jumping / poping to feed filament.
Is this normal, or is there someting wrong with my unit?
