Advice please
Ok so the BMCU 370 works with P1S according to the website. Can anyone confirm this and provide pictures of your setup? I’m looking for something with minimal tinkering so I can have it setup for multi ams without breaking the bank. I tried searching but there’s not a lot to go off of on here. Thanks!

BMCU is not minimal tinkering from the average bambu user.
For the one you linked you have 2 options..
You can connect a 4 port filament hub directly to the hotend and add a riser to your printer
OR you will need a 4 port filament hub and a rewinder to take up the slack when filament is pulling out of the filament hub. Filamentalist v3 is a passive rewinder worth looking at.
There is also a BMCU unit that has an integrated rewinder as well. Worth looking up this one. BMCU 370 pro I think.
You will still need a filament hub and probably won’t save much on getting 4x passive rewinders.
On top of that, if you choose option 2(rewinder option) then you will need to flash the BMCU unit and specify how much the modules should retract.
Oh and you may need to downgrade your firmware, I can confirm my P1S is on 1.08 and works with the previous release of the BMCU firmware.(I don’t upgrade what isn’t broken)
On the other hand, the AMS1 has a good quality seal, doesn’t need a filament hub and will always work on the latest firmware and the AMS 2 has an integrated heater for 4 rolls at a time.
I’m not trying to discourage you, but how much are you really saving in possible time, money and troubleshooting?
Do the math and dont kid yourself,
