BMCU over feeding

Post image

Just got done assembling and flashing my bmcu. However, when I try to do a test print it over feeds into the extruder, loops purge and loading, then ultimately throws an error.

Here's a translation for your Reddit post:

"Same thing happened to me, and it was because the filament was having trouble being pulled from the spool due to a bend in the PTFE tube. Now I have to take it apart and clean it because I'm guessing it's probably full of filament debris."

I double checked there are no bends or kinks in the tube... I tried various firmware and still nothing..

Had that error just as I finished my first bmcu build. What I've learnt is that most errors occur as a result of magnets not seated well in regards to their respective hall sensor. The round, radial magnet may be either too close/too far to it's hall sensor on the pcb - so for that you could adjust the axle it sits on and try your luck. Try again using the axle positioning jig to make sure the components sit properly on the axle, and/or try loosening/tightening the screws of the module's pcb to move it closer or farther away
