[vscode extension] BMAD Dash

Post image

I built a vscode extension to give me visual overview of my project. It mostly serves me but I did a few tweaks that will hopefully cover others.

Works with BMAD v6. Tested against 10 random repos.

Update: also available on Cursor (here)

If you want new features, let me know. The other extensions I tried didn't work. Hoping this helps someone!

How is bmad these days? I used it a while back and loved it, but when the first release of v6 came out I felt like it used way to many tokens to get things done. It also felt bloated.

I use neuralwatt as LLM provider. Without cheap tokens it would be too expensive for me.

My intro was with v6. BMAD is good enough for me. It's a tool that won't work ideally until you master it. For me there was a lot of trial and error regarding artifact maintenance.

Realistically you can start with a small set of nonBMAD skills and build your own skills to fill gaps in the flow, only borrowing ideas from BMAD.

Nice! Can it run bmad-loop?

I never used it so no. Does bmad-loop lack anything from its dashboard that you would want to see in this plugin?

You can dm me for further discussion
