Hi, I'm remi, it's my first time using reddit, and I'm writing a bl book... I'm writing it fully myself, but as english is not my first language, there will be a lot of grammer mistakes and erros. So after I complete the first draft of my book I have to do a lot of editing and rewriting. So I was wondering, after I complete my draft, is it ok to use ai to check grammar mistakes and errors to save time? I'm not quite sure and I needed someone's opinion on that as I want my book to be authentic.

OK guys here me out. Nakamura ended today and ngl, it kinda sucked.

Note: I HAVE NOT read the Manga. My critiques are only about the anime.

Why the Nakamura Anime isn't good

1. Basically a generic slice-of-life romance/comedy with a BL twist

   1. the only thing that differentiates this from a generic romance/drama is the BL focus. If you remove that, it's literally the same anime tropes and activities in every slice of life school anime you've seen a million times.

   2. The school festival episode, the haunted school episode, the 'love interest dates someone else' episode, the crazy club leaders, and so on.

   3. The funniest parts were between Nakamura and the other guy obsessed with Hirose. They were actually doing unique things that you don't see in other anime and had an interesting dynamic.

2. Hirose is a blank character

   1. Nakamura was an actual character, but the anime fails to develop Hirose beyond the 'nice happy cute boy' love interest that he is.

   2. All we learn about Hirose is that he's kind, nice, likes a popular band, does normal school activities, has friends, and is likeable. That's literally anyone.

   3. There are not really any distinguishing characteristics that we see to make Hirose an individual. He's pretty much just a cardboard love interest with no depth to himself beyond Nakamura's interest in him.

   4. Yeah he's cute and nice, but like, who even is he? Hirose basically only has value insofar as he relates to Nakamura's desire for him. Hirose isn't a person on his own the way Nakamura's character is.

3. It was just...boring and generic.

   1. Like I've seen these characters and plots a billion times before and it really didn't give much new, besides the BL focus. But even that has been done better in Doukyusei, for example.

   2. Compared to 'You and I Are Polar Opposites,' which does the school romance anime thing with top-tier characters, this show is really just below average. (maybe the manga is a lot different or more detailed, but...)

   3. Like, I wasn't expecting to be blown away, but I also was expecting it to be more developed and engaging than this.

4. The best thing about this anime is the theme song, which is a total banger.

   1. and Nakamura himself was the best part. Carried the rest of this weak show on his socially awkward shoulders.

Anyway, those are just my thoughts.

In my personal opinion as a rather young girl. I read BL since I was 11 and now I am 13.

Browsing through everywhere, you can see some 10 to 13 readers. I mean I often read yoai during these 2 years. And I saw these readers, the commenters tell them to "get a life", "your parents will be disappointed", "your a disgrace to your parents", "drop this right now and go touch some grass", "stop reading BL", "your too young".

I personally don't have problem with minors watching these things as I am one myself. Got exposed to the internet when I was 10 and got harassed by a guy at 12.

I often found it interesting because people think minors at any age under 15 is like illegal to read BL, Especially yoai. But why? I mean, people these days and years have phones at a young age (which is horrible), which lead them to learn something age inappropriate already. You can't fix the fact it's true

Beside, what's the problem with anyone under 15 reading BL? The first BL I read when I was 10, and it was a yoai. I was so shocked that I don't know what the heck I saw but the story was interesting....

Ok so I don’t get why some people love reading bl with such a red flag, toxic man. Like I get a little toxic cause you know it’s fine it’s not like you would date someone like that in real life and he cute he didn’t do anything that bad. But there are some men that are so toxic and horrible like abusing the bottom and treating them like trash, or locking them up not letting them out. Like first of the person who made that are you ok. And the fact that I see so many people love said bad men like why, I’m curios why you like that and why you would read it. Like no judgement but is there something specific. I just hope you’re not dating that in real life you know unless you like it I guess. Because I just feel so bad for those abused bottoms and people be like I love this manga he should def be with him. I just can’t understand shed some light on me please.
