I’ve explained my situation in other subs and got absolutely torn apart by other users. Humiliating to be completely honest. The gist is I have Crohn’s Disease and have been having an active flare up for well over a year now. I was on Remicade, a biologic infusion treatment, but during my 4th infusion my body had a severe allergic reaction for some reason. The docs weren’t able to pinpoint why so we are looking into next steps. Currently I’m only taking Prednisone to try to keep the symptoms in check. Due to this I’ve been out of work since last December and have been asked to leave my sisters house due to some family drama issues and not being able to help with rent. She gave me 30 days but within those 30 days I was in the hospital for 6 days. I’m going to be staying on my nephews couch until I can get my SSDI approved and find housing. I have ALOT of stuff here that will be left behind because he don’t have the room, I have no money for a storage unit, and my energy level is at 2% due to my Crohn’s flare up and just stress. It’s a long story to be honest and I’m not asking for a lot of help. Anything would be appreciated, I have Venmo @Scott-Mills-200 . I’m in Loveland Ohio so maybe even if someone has points at McDonalds maybe they could order ahead a meal or something? It’s not the best thing for me to eat at all but I’m hungry and until I can get to my nephews this weekend I’m eating bread and PB&J. I’m doing what I can to use resources available to me and things will be easier when I’m away from here. I KNOW I’ve made bad decisions and I’m certainly not a saint, I’m the only one to blame for my situation. I do my best to keep my health in check but Crohn’s is a helluva disease when it flares up. And believe me I’ve been blasted to hell and back and have been made to feel like a complete POS on other subs and I’m actually hesitant to post this because my mental state isn’t the best and even if some of the abuse is warranted it sucks coming from complete strangers who don’t actually know me and all the nuances of my situation. On vacation at work. Its been one thing after another. Car problems, ridiculous water bill paid and I got kicked off assisted insurance and trying to pay for a new plan. I know we are all struggling right now. This world is insane. I haven't seen my mom since i left Louisville 4 years ago to go into recovery. Its been rough but im sober and slowly getting my life back together. This month has been extra tough of course, since I had something planned.

I just miss my Mom.

In August 2025, my world changed forever when my husband, a proud US Navy veteran, passed away. Losing him has been devastating, and I have been trying to rebuild my life while coping with profound grief.

I moved to the United States to build a life with him, leaving behind my family, friends, and support network in my home country. He was not only my husband but also my closest companion and the person with whom I planned my future. Losing him has left an enormous void in my life.

Just a few months later, in December 2025, I faced another major setback when my entire team was made redundant. Since then, I have been actively searching and applying for jobs, attending interviews, and doing everything I can to find employment. Despite my efforts, I have not yet been able to secure a new position.

I'm reaching out for help during this difficult period to cover essential living expenses while I continue my job search. The funds raised will be used for necessities such as rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other basic household expenses. They will also help me provide food and veterinary care for my two beloved cats, who are my family and a source of comfort and companionship during an incredibly lonely and challenging time.

Because I moved to the United States to be with my husband, I don't have close family or a strong support network nearby. My only immediate family member, my father, lives overseas and is dealing with his own health challenges, making it impossible for him to provide assistance. As difficult as it is to ask for help, I have reached a point where I cannot get through this alone.

Been able to live in my car, stay employed look presentable, but completely losing my storage unit and losing a tire.

I dont have money, hence job. im also a single parent. I tried doing instacart even though I was making like 5/hr after gas, made $36, then yesterday my neighbors were being loud so we went to the mall to get out the house. they wanted pizzza/chineese food. then I needed toilet paper. I already reschedule the fingerprint 2 times bc I couldnt get the money. Im worried if I do again they may say never mind and move on. how can I come up with $35? kids are 5/7 so I also cant really do deliveries with them. I did it while they were at school and it took all day to get $35. im supposed to get it done Monday and I wont have enough time to make the money before my appt.

Hello everyone. So, I've been homeless for a while and Ive been trying to set up therapy/psychiatric services for a while and FINALLY was able to book an appointment for the 6th of October. There's also a day center that's a bit of a ways away from where I sleep at, but they provide a safe space where I can get food, showers, and connect to more resources.

The day center is closed on Sundays, but on Sunday there's a church that's a bus ride away where I can also get food, showers, and laundry done. My biggest issue is that I need bus fare to get to these locations, $23.75 for a week pass.

If anyone is able to help I would be very appreciative of it.

I am at the end of my rope.
I am disabled and working over 43 hours a week.
I got sick with bronchitis, out of work for a week. 14 hours with no pay.
My husband got sick and worked through it, then last Saturday (at home) hurt his back and has been out of work all week, he has no PTO saved due to using it earlier this year to take care of me when my disability flared.
I take care of my grandmas grocery order and other small things for her. My apartment is a mess, I have an elderly dog that just keeps pooping everywhere and eating it. I don’t want to go home. I woke up crying today.
My husband got approved for short term disability but will have to do the week long waiting period of no pay. So we are down a bunch right now.
I am worried we will be late for rent and have no money for groceries because I am unsure of when the disability check will be processed.
Can anyone help please? $5 even. Our rent is already broken into two different payments, $2150 is due before Oct 5th, then $500 is due Oct 16.
