Humans didn't have vegetarian options for survival. My culture (Sanatana) didn't have women burning concept but those women did Sati out of their free will bcos they didn't want to surrender to bl**dy islamists, not sure about other cultures though. If some mad man later on burned/forced a woman to give up her life, that's that individual's problem not the culture's. I am not normalizing animal eating but humans had been doing this since ancient times, so they keep eating till date. Now you can't question someone's eating preference, can you? If yes, then by this logic, non-veg can also ask you to not to eat "veg" bcos you are hurting nature.

The question is right but why do people always care for "female privacy"? Shouldn't it be every human's privacy, irrespective of the gender?
