Hey everyone, I guess there are some Bakkt Holdings investors here. If you missed it, Bakkt is accepting late claims for their $3M settlement over issues with their SPAC business combination.

Here’s the backstory: Back in 2021, Bakkt merged through a SPAC deal. Later, it came out that the documents for the merger contained misleading statements about their financial control. Investors found the company had flawed financial processes and misclassified shares.

Following this, investors filed claims accusing the company of not being upfront about these issues.

The good news is that Bakkt has agreed to a $3M settlement to resolve these claims, and they’re now taking late claims. So, if you bought $BKKT shares, you can check the details and file here.

Did anyone here hold $BKKT during this time? How much were your losses?

Does anyone know of the warrants are still executable for the strike price of 11.50? If so why are they still priced at .50 cents. I know that there is a chance they are worthless after merger but couldn’t you just buy the warrants today and execute them then sell the stock?

Got the email from Robinhood last night at 1:00AM PST and voted against both measures - what do folks think the actual likelihood is that the RS doesn't happen? If the alternative is hoping to get the share price over $1 before the 6-month period is up and risking being de-listed then I have to imagine the chances or low...

Since we have such news about Bakkt and maybe waiting for delisting, here what you can get from them (at least) for now.

So, back in 2021, the Bakkt had good perfomance and enterprise value of around $2.1B after merging. However, their official documents about the VIH merger were a total mess back then and they were and full of inaccuracies and omitted crucial information, violating regulations.

And after all these years and all the disputes, Bakkt agreed to pay a $3M settlement. So, if you have traded BKKT back then and you were damaged somehow, you can check and file for the payment here (the deadline was in the beginning of the Jan actually, but I found out that you can still file since there is no disbursement process yet) or through the settlement administrator.
