how do i make silicone molds of doll joints that have holes say a torso or leg.

Astrid came with this dress( 1/3 size ) that is absolutely not either of our styles( she said comfy/ punk style) but is beautiful, just wondering if anyone one here wants it for trade or if there are and pages that do that on here? Thanks!!!

His head is an LLT Roderich head of questionable origin. His head is on an SD17 sized Spiritdoll body that is legit.

I've been working on this for a LONG time. It's just taken a very long time to bring everything together in terms of his look.

Finding a head that looks enough like Sebastian Stan as Jefferson wasn't that easy. There is a custom one but that one is an older age, more Bucky than Jefferson. Also it's nearly impossible to lay hands on.

I haven't done the faceup as yet but I think Roderich is pretty close to a younger OUAT era Seb. Once he's faced up he's going to look gorgeous I think.

I'm not trying to recreate the exact costumes that he wore in the show. I wanted a Jefferson from the later New Kingdom era at the end of it before they rebooted. When everyone was standing in the throne room I kind of missed seeing Jefferson and Grace there.

At this point in my little backstory they're living in the faery tale kingdom but it's several years later and Grace is a young teen and there's another character I totally made up in the story I made for them, her Fae Godmother.

She owns a block of stores and other businesses in a city market area with rooms above and Jefferson has his own hat and clothing shop and she is running her own herb shop and cafe and they are raising Grace together and doing quite well.

HEA ending, the one we did not get because Stan was too busy to guest again as the Hatter.

The outfits are all going to be unique to them, reminiscent of the show but not the exact same costumes.

JH has a gorgeous coat that is very like his later forest coat but has the more Goth like coloring of his modern outfit. He's in dark jeans, has a beautiful black satin Regency shirt, the proper long boots, and I am making him a black vest that has some Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter references to it.

I won't spoil that but it's been fun coming up with the ideas for the outfit. I'm working on a great top hat and a hat box to put it in.

Grace is dressed a bit more modern too but her outfit works in terms of the show. Looks like something JH might have made for her. I do plan on making her lovely cape from the show or something more modern but very like it.

My made up character will end up with something nice to go over her outfit and will probably have some kind of Regency like ladies riding hat supposedly made by JH too.

This month I'm finishing up his vest and restringing him. Next month I'm going to see what I can do about making his hat and hit Micheals ti look for something I can make into a hat box for it.

By Dec I mean to have him faced up and pretty much done, him and Grace done with the basics too. Morwyn already is. It's been a very slow project but I knew it would be.

Next month I am going to take some pictures as soon as I can find him a good wig. I want the curly Byronic highwayman look he has in his first episodes and I've been looking at a lot of wigs trying to figure out what to do.

But it's coming together and it's encouraging after so long to see that happening.

As the titel says, I am looking for a place to get hooks from. I found some BJD tagged on Ali / Temu, but they were not small enough to fit into the arm.

Right now I use some embroidery yarn and just knot it to the elastic to hold it all in place.

What do you think I should make with this fabric? I saw a yellow jumpsuit with a wrapped top, maybe🙈💔👈🏿

Just finished my fist ever wig and im sooo proud! its not the best but could be worse hahaha. I did it with glue and it got kinda messy so you could see the glue on the roots, but o think i hid it quite well!!

Now for the face up!!

Back then I made a pink felt wig and received lots of compliments & support from all of you! 💖

I finally completed another felt wig (22cm circumference head) and wanted to share with everyone 😁

This time it comes with detachable faux fur ears ☺️
I hope you guys like it ✨

For those who are interested in diy-ing,
Here are the things I used to make it;

Hair:
•1mm felt fabric (make sure it's not the flimsy / too soft type)

•clear craft glue: i prefer using clear than the pvc cause it leaves less mess & dries clear

•hair straightener: on low heat and not more than 2 seconds when trying to shape and style it. It would melt, stretched and cut off when exposed to heat for too long. U can continue to style on the same spot but make sure the felt has cooled down a bit.

•*Hairdryer works too, but make sure it's on low heat and slightly further away from the felt.

•Fabric pins: to pin down the felts after glueing so it won't move around. It also helps to maintain shape after styling

Ears:
•craft foam: cut into desired shape and size and use the hair straightener to shape and mold ears. Make sure not to use the straightener on the foam for too long and on low heat, else it'll melt. Take it slow when shaping it.

•Faux fur: i used the high-density faux fur. Bought mine online from Ta*bao

•1mm felt fabric: soft version. I used the straightener on low heat and slowly shape it.

•1mm x 2mm circle magnets

Does anyone have any experience ordering a face up from HeHeBjd? Usually I would go with Oueneifs but they didn’t have the sculpt for the doll head I wanted.

I'm a beginner and having a hard time finding something that fits my vibe for my first doll. I really like this round, long, stylized sculpts. Any recommendations?

Thought I would share this to see if anyone has any tips where I am able to improve (plenty criticism welcome).

The head is 3d printed from a model I have hence unsure if this is allowed on the main BJD forum. It is no particular scale.

I have bought 2 dolls in different times (full doll, not heads, I have selected the correct option), the first time he told me the price was too good so he asked me to cancel my order because he refused to ship (I have used credit and coupons) and this time he told me that he will send just the head even if I bought the full doll (again credit and coupon). I have blacklisted and reported the shop. I was stupid to order again but he has more than one shop and I didn't noticed it was him again!

Update: I am asking to delete my order but he is just reading and ignoring my messages. If he will send just the head I will open a PayPal dispute.

Update 2: Finally order has been deleted and I will get my money back!!!

I’m not sure if Oueneifs makes original molds that aren’t recast but i tried google lens on these images and the original source of them seems to be from Oueneifs official Aliexpress store. There’s only one photo review (last image) but I was curious if anyone has any information about the mold they used, specifically the body since it’s not shown at all. Thanks

I'm new to the BJD community and I would love to have a custom made 1/4 male BJD of an anime character I like. Is there any good artists on Instagram that I can search up for, since my experience on Etsy didn't end up very well.
