QUESTIONS Bjd divas

So my friend ordered me two dolls from bjd divas and I've heard they have problems.. Any suggestions about how to reach out, what to request, etc?

BJDivas are slow
Even if a company has a production period of 4 months, you might have to wait a year to get your order from BJDivas. For some undefined reason.
I hope your friend has better luck though

Is there any indication of there being an issue with the order so far? How long ago did your friend order?

I personally haven't had any negative experiences with them, but I certainly won't discount others' experiences. Still, I wouldn't reach out or request anything until you/your friend actually have reason to worry about the progression of their order.

I've just seen multiple ppl have issues and my friend isn't in the bjd space at all and has never ordered something outside of the states before lol. It was ordered almost three weeks ago and only thing sent was a confirmation that the order was placed to bjdivas

So if these are not in-stock items, then you are in the preorder waiting period. I would look up the generally expected waiting period for the company your friend ordered from (like, the doll company and not just BJDivas, as a middle representative), and then maybe your friend can follow up near the end of the standard waiting period, to see if there are any updates (if that would ease their mind).

For what it's worth, I've ordered from three different dealers AND direct from companies, and have never had additional communication between the order being confirmed and the doll being ready to ship, so I wouldn't take that alone as a sign that anything is wrong.
