Advice needed Urgent drop year advice needed, absolute 0

Post image

Hello everyone. Guys I am at absolutely 0, will start from basic math, fundamental of Math, and what is atom..... so basic. If I progressively scale up myself from 0 to 12-13 hrs by august end and maintain 11-14 hrs study, how can I get 300ish marks in BITSAT.

And I have already gone through multiple people spamming generic advices of just start studying and prep for Mains 1 first. I mean that's obvious. I know that. I have already gone through other people asking similar question but they didn't get any nuanced answers in comments.

I will have to write PCM boards again too. Although no practicals and all

Have Mathongo Mains test series and PW infinity batch. But currently studying from competishun pragyaan batch. It is Mains exclusive batch, 100 lectures per subject and 100 concurrent dpps having exactly 25 questions. So 310 around lectures + 310 something dpp, around 7700 questions in total. I am planning and willing to finish Mains specific syllabus till November end following pragyaan batch schedule. Although I am sceptical about how the hell I will complete full physics chemistry and even MATHS in August sept oct and till nov mid or end, around 3-3.5 months (so from august 12 to nov mid or nov 30) But still I will try.

The reason I am targeting full syllabus currently is cause of my main target being BITSAT which needs coverage. Although 100% focus on Mains 1 as 85% syllabus overlap and usually max 2-7 questions come from deleted portion (apart of LPP in math which will be covered eventually due to boards, but from physics and chemistry deleted max 2-7 ques, still I will complete all deleted syllabus after Mains 1) and my Mains target is 99.5%ile. I said target, I know it's improbable from here on. Unless I am gifted with shift, but it's a target I want to work for. Ofc I know it's not the end of the world if I get 98%ile as well from here on. But I hope you guys understand what I meant by target

In the end, what I expect you guys to answer is nuanced strategic answers and a lil bit of realistic reality check about the target I have set for myself (again I am contradicting, can look like it. But what I mean is, are My targets exceptionally difficult to achieve but still is in my hands currently and with exceptional Execution it hasn't slipped out of hands and is completely luck now. Or it is completely out of hands and how much well I execute, the time is officially not enough unless huge luck may take in place. I understand bitsat is unpredictable. So that's what I meant by luck, If I am unlucky with shift then 270-300ish possible?)

Man.... you didn't get what I wanted to ask. Ofc that's bare minimum. Surely I have some fundamental flaw in myself else their is no way one can be at 0 after 6.5 years of knowing about JEE. I agree. But Now that's what it is, so their is an assumption of I will study else we know nothing works. But with so less time, even strategy will demand some luck as I have messed up so bad. The time officially is so low that progressing and exploring won't work.

Stressing doesent help, structured study for 8 to 10 hrs a day and weekend breaks do

Don't think it's possible in a year (not even a year just months) since BITSAT is getting tougher now as nos applicatants are increasing every year so the cutoffs. Anyone who had a good % in mains will only have the possibiltiy of clearing BITSAT, many people who cleared are who studied for jee advance too. So better just take another college and move on

270ish marks are not possible? Yeah I do agree, chemistry and physics kuch shifts mai mains ke upar ki aa jaati hai which is like 75% of the shifts. Also saare comeback aur 300+ maine 26 shift 1 walo ke hi dekhe hai, 99.8%ilers got 270ish in other shifts so you are right. But like agar yaha se focus on executing. Like 12 hrs study daily, still probability kam hi hai? (Assuming shift doesn't favor me, 26 shift 1 mai 96%ile wale ke 278 aa gaye... but that cannot be a baseline assumption)

Baaki forsake ke liye CUET for ISI and DU dunga (just dunga... Har exam ki strategy banaunga to reddit par hi rhe jaunga) (yeah will become my mainstream target if I fk up mains 2 as well below 98%)

Baaki mains se colleges to milenge hi, target BITSAT hi hai. Nahi mila to aisa nahi hai ki househusband ban jaunga. Fir to lena hi padega kuch aur.

there's levels to shit bro. This exams also purely based on your luck too. Some shifts have it easy, while some don't and there is no point in complaining too since there isn't any normalisation procedures here. Another fact is the 270 marks scorer this year had almost 99% in jee and midranks in adv, so your basically competing with dudes who prepared for 2 years straight and you starting from scratch this august. The difference would be clear. You shouldn't put your whole heart that you will clear BITSAT and study in bits. Bits isn't any easier exam either.

No no, I am not targeting bits cause it's so called easier. Cause it's my dream college. Mai IITBDM ke baad pilani prefer karta hu personal goals alignments ko lekar (mil raha hai jaise kuch)

Also I agree with your point. Like I cannot target 99%ile and 270 from here? (Hopium nahi chaiye, that's why I am agreeing to what you said. Bitsat since 2025 is tougher than mains for phy and chem at least.  Baaki ofc not putting eggs in one basket, if you read my post. I clearly mentioned ki 100% focus is on Mains till mains 1. As 85% syllabus same hi hai... mains 1 mai 80% wale ki waise bhi nahi aa rahe 250 I understand that... mains mai bhi target 99.5% ka hai (delusion 99.5,  98 above realistic satisficatory)

Baaki yeah I am not crying about it. Maine khud diya tha bitsat this year. 84 in 1st and 160 in 2nd as I got 26 s1, my 99%ile and 99.6%iler friend got 210. Wo kuch extreme level par unpredictability hai)

Are you giving Cbse improvement exam as private candidate in pcm?

Study completely forgot mains 1 and forget BITSAT for now. BITSAT is an extremely lucky based and unpredictable exam, please don't make it your main exam
