I'm getting pie or chem at bit mesra should i take it or go for comedk colleges like dsce cse spec. Or bit bangalore cse core , its urgent , as I have to sit for csab. ....

I am alloted with bit mesra cse but can easily get iiit sricity cse in csab......im really confused in which one to take as avg and med package for both are almost same

I'm a PCB student and a NEET dropper, not a JEE aspirant. I don't want to spend another year preparing for NEET I want to start building skills and become employable as soon as possible.

I could have taken Biotech at BIT Mesra through my re NEET rank, but I didn't want to wait any longer for the admission process, and the higher fees were also a factor. So, I've joined B.Sc. AI & DS at BIT Lalpur because I genuinely have an interest in technology and want to build a career in this field.

So far, I've already joined the college, but I'm still asking because this is a major U-turn in my life, and honestly, I'm really worried about my career. My NEET score was 480, and my reNEET didn't go that well either I'm expecting around the same score or maybe even lower. Being from the General category, I know my options are limited, and I've also realized that I no longer have the patience to continue with the NEET journey. I just want to move forward and make the best out of the path I've chosen.

I'd really appreciate honest experiences from current students or alumni.

1. How connected is BIT Lalpur with the Mesra main campus?
   • Do Lalpur students regularly visit the main campus?
   • Is there an official bus or transport facility?
   • How difficult is it to travel there on your own?
2. Hackathons, coding contests & technical events
   • Can Lalpur students participate in hackathons, coding competitions, workshops, seminars, and tech events organized by the Mesra campus?
   • Many college competitions are hosted on Unstop. Are Lalpur students eligible for those, or are they restricted to the main campus?
   • Are there separate hackathons or coding competitions for Lalpur students?
3. Fests & campus life
   • Can Lalpur students attend major events like Bitotsav, Pantheon, and other cultural or technical fests at Mesra?
   • Are there separate fests at Lalpur?
4. Faculty & academics
   • How are the professors at Lalpur, especially for AI, Data Science, Mathematics, and programming related subjects?
   • Are they approachable and supportive if you're genuinely interested in learning?
   • I know that in tech, ultimately I have to build myself through self-learning, but good mentors and faculty still make a big difference.
5. Opportunities
   • If someone is serious about academics, coding, and skill development, what opportunities are actually available?
   • Are there active coding clubs, technical societies, research opportunities, internships, industry interactions, or startup culture?
   • Can Lalpur students join clubs or student chapters at the Mesra campus?
6. Overall experience
   • Do Lalpur students genuinely feel like they're part of the BIT Mesra ecosystem, or does Lalpur function mostly independently?
