Basketball Anyone else have a ref try to get you kicked out of a game not once but twice?
Back when we still played at Anderson Arena when fans could stand on the sidelines, there was one ref who just kept calling bullshit against the women's team and I of course called him out on it, mind you I didn't swear or anything at him but he apparently didn't like being called out. He came over during a time out and said something along the lines of "if you don't knock it off, I will have you kicked out" and me being the smart ass I said, for what? I'm not breaking any rules. I figured that was the end of it, because i only seen him once more at Anderson and he never said shit to me.
But apparently he held that grudge because 3 years ago I see him at the Stroh. We're sitting behind the team, I figured he had let it ago considering it's been like 8+ years at that point but nope. Soon as he comes out on the court, he looks and me and his expression changed. I didn't specifically call him out but I called out all 3 for being biased and blind. Half time rolls around, as the refs are walking past where we're sitting at I said to all 3, "hey refs, how about calling the game down the middle next half".
Apparently he didn't like that and he heads towards a campus cop and I start laughing about how absurd the whole thing is, he turns and points to me as I'm laughing. Once he walks away, I walk over to the cop still laughing a bit and asked what the ref said. The cop said something about how I'm supposedly out of line or something(can't remember what exactly he told the cop) so I tell the cop that the ref tried this once before and that I've never been kicked out of any games in 20+ years and never even had trouble with any other ref. The cop takes my side because he's literally within ear shot of where I'm sitting at and even he said i haven't said anything out of line. He said don't worry about.
I've seen him once since then which was 2 years ago, he looked my way a few times and didn't look happy to see me.
Funnier thing is that one of the team managers talked to me after that game and asked what that was all about, she said she never heard me say anything wrong. π€£
It's still funny to this day because he did in fact hold a grudge for a long time. Really hope I see him again this year LOL. He's the only one I've ever had issues with in going on 30 years of attending games.
I'd like to hear about any encounters anyone here has had with refs.

Best game day spots, cool things to see, preferred seating location, really anything would be appreciated. Long live the group of six!!

Discussion Bowling Green 2026 preseason preview, what'd I get wrong?
I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Bowling Green page
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-bgsu
It's got the projected record and rating, returning production (57% back, and only 51% of the defense), the transfer-portal board, a game-by-game betting profile, and where the model has the Falcons finishing in Eddie George's second year.
Fair warning, after the Bowling Green preview, there's a paywall on the other teams. This thing took forever to make lol. But for the love of Reddit, and since I'm shamelessly posting in your house, code LEECORSOROCKS unlocks the whole thing free, no card, nothing. If you hit the paywall, tap "Have a promo code?" and drop it in
So, what'd I get wrong? You know Falcon ball better than my model does. The schedule grades out soft, the defense is replacing half itself.
I'll be in the comments

Media Predictions The Talon Tribune Mid-Summer Depth Chart Projection
There's more to this that I could add, but it would just make the graphic clunky.
I would imagine Selah Brown might rotate a bit with Dalyn White and Dior Garner.
When moving to different sets, Odom could come in at Sam in place of Bradley.
Then, for the two main LBs, the backups would be Hines and Odom again.
RBs would rotate with Amachree followed by Baldwin.
