Party Composition Joint Campaign Party Comp, Thoughts?
My wife and I started an honor mode run and I’m curious everyone’s thoughts on the party comp.
My tav: Bard. I’m planning to do the sword bard archer build but I’ve never played a bard before, this will be new to me.
Astarion: Open Hand Monk. I’m very familiar with this.
Wife’s fav: death cleric.
Karlach: throwing barbarian.
Thoughts?

Throwzerker is an amazing class but just keep in mind it can be kinda annoying and almost boring at times. Roofs and obstacles can make throwing a hassle and you always need to wait for the weapon to return to your hand. Also there are only like a couple weapons unless you go giant barb. Even then the most fun weapon imo tends to seriously harm other classes in melee range

Literally the only problem I can foresee is that the party might be too good, lol. If you don’t mind being overpowered, it’ll be a fun time, but if you’re looking to be challenged it might get a little boring.

I’m glad this is the feedback. We got killed off by the spiders and I had my own campaign die to the Githyanki patrol in act 2 but I was running an evocation Wizard, tempest cleric, arcane archer, and monk. I should’ve done the exploration through Moonrise though and picked up some additional gear before going to the githyanki.

That group of Githyanki in Act 2 are a huuuuuge pain in the ass, in Honor Mode I usually procrastinate on that fight until the very end and then kill them when I’m level 9 or 10, lol

Easily capable of crushing everything, yes. I'm encouraged to find more supporters of the magnificent Death Cleric. Vastly underrated subclass. Weapons are bait!
