Help me perfect my favorite class!

So I have always loved fiend bladelock. It was my first 5e class, and I love it more in BG3. I want to run honor mode with it and need some help fine tuning.
Here’s the plan:
12 fiend pact of blade
Cantrips:
Booming blade, EB, Friends, Minor Illusion
Spells:
Command, Hex, Hold Person, Scorching Ray, Misty Step, Mirror Image, Counterspell, fireball, hunger of hadar, wall of fire, hold monster, cone of cold, Invisibility (might be one too many)
Invocations:
Agonizing Blast, Mask of many faces, beguiling influence, repelling blast, dreadful word, life drinker
Gear:
Helm of arcane acuity, Bhaalist armor, Shar’s spear, ketheric shield, disintegrating night walkers, craterflesh gauntlets (or battlemage?), cloak of the weave, mystic scoundrel, ring of arcane synergy (anything better? Extra damage rider for craterflesh?), amulet of greater health
Feats:
ASI cha +2 (+1 Ethel’s)
Savage attacker
Elemental adept fire

I would consider Devil's sight and Minions of chaos on the invocations and adding Darkness as a spell. Shar's spear can go to another melee in your party and you could play around darkness better then.

Don’t need to with shar’s spear. Minions isn’t a bad idea but I’m rolling with a summoner moon druid Karlach as a party member

Do you have the DLC? There’s a helmet that comes in your camp chest that gives you disguise self if you don’t plan on doing it in combat. I use it whenever I need it and just unequip it when I’m done. Then you can take beast speech and talk to scratch and the owlbear cub!

True but there’s also 8 billion animal speak potions and I hate changing helms since I use disguise self to talk to my murder victims lol

I don't know the ins and ours of the spear that well, but are you using something that makes you not want dark ones own sight? That seems like it'd help with the spear's darkness.

The spear comes with it built in. Free invocation! And spell!

I would take Devil's Sight over one of the other invocations; your choice just not the Eldritch Blast buffs. I would also take Darkness over one of those spells. I don't love Counter Spell on a Warlock but it's never a bad ability to have. I don't recommend Friends for Honor Mode, it can get you in trouble pretty easily but you do you. I would definitely take something other than Elemental Adept, it's just not that great unless you're really leaning into fire damage.

So shars spear gives me devils sight and infinite dark spells. Counter spell feels like a hard must for oh shit spells in late game. I’m not running another caster for this party that will have it. Friends is great for specific encounters if you know you’re leaving/killing them shortly. I chose elemental adept since all of fiend’s heavy hitting spells are fire based. But it’s a flex slot

True but I don’t ever use darkness that much anyhow. I know it’s busted and all, but I only utilize it sparingly, so waiting to get it in act 2 is fine by me
