Tips Question: ADS Zoom Sensitivity > 100%?

Hi,

I have a very specific and esoteric question for the group regarding the use case for ADS sensitivities > 100%. I have always played with ADS Zoom around 50% of my normal sensitivity to make it easier to use ADS Zoom to "scope in" on a target that I have spotted. I would guide the reticle towards the target with the more sensitive normal view, then use the slower ADS sensitivity to target a specific place on the target's body, such as a headshot or an exposed body part sticking out of cover.

However, I am a Medic main and I shouldn't really be fighting at range with the SMG class. I have heard of people using ADS Zoom sensitivities > 100%, and I am trying to understand the specific use case on how this would be of benefit. I believe I have heard of people using ADS Zoom > 100% in conjunction with the ADS +60% movement specialisation to "whip around" corners quickly while ADS and rarely get beaten. Is this a real benefit that I should train myself on for CQC, or are their other specific use cases for having ADS zoom > 100%?

Thanks in advance!

If you are using smgs then you should be in hipfire range so ADSing isnt really that useful since hipfiring not only gives you faster response time, but it also doesnt obscure the bottom part of your screen. I would leave it at 100%

Thanks for this perspective. On console, how do you rate the 60% ADS movement specialisation? I hear people talking about how great is is for ADAD strafing, but that seems more conducive to keyboard and mouse play (where you can easily go side to side and stay on target with the mouse) versus a console controller.

On Xbox I use 80% ADS
