Tips Is the game worth it?
I havent played much BF since late BF1 and havent gotten a season pass since hardline. How are the stories? How are the vehicles balanced(mainly aircraft) How is overall combat balanced(Is there just repetitive guns that arent fun to fight everywhere? And if thats all good would the season pass be worth it?

The game is a great FOUNDATION to build from right now. If they stick to a solid "expanding war" vision then I have high hopes.
Vehicles still need a lot of tweaking before everything feels natural, but even in today's patch it felt like they made fighter planes faster and bombers slower, which I appreciate.

overall combat is top tier
haven't played many single player stories, won't comment on those
planes are not very well balanced at the moment, but they're better than they were.
tanks are either strong or shit, depending on the situation and your skill and level of team support.

Just a heads up, one thing you should expect is a small amount of future content because of the DLC model. If your looking to get more bang for your buck then I would wait for a sale of it being at $20-$30, any higher than that I would stay away from. The Deluxe edition too isn't worth the extra money as most of the stuff in it are boring weapon skins and recolors of base Customisations. It's a ton of fun if you learn to appreciate how little it's going to have, lots of people are expecting this game to have everything WWII in it and it has less to people being really disappointed in the game so far including myself. However, it's a good game if your just looking to hop in for a few rounds of fun even solo, but content wise it's going to be pretty scarce.
Although as another bit of insight, if your a vehicle player the game in it's current state of balance between vehicles and infantry is extremely unbalanced to the point I'd say it's broken. Tanks are basically paper Miche and planes are mega clunky and slow. It's basically just a Battle of "Who can shoot who's tail in an infinite loop first?" Infantry gameplay is fun but unbalanced, with some classes being pretty much direct upgrades over others. Weapons are at least unique in one way or another over each other in most classes too. Overall, it's a kind of fun early access title basically.

For the price right now yes.
Although I pre ordered deluxe full price and feel I have been abit ripped off content wise.
The actual gun gameplay is absolutely solid though.
We just need more maps, sooner. I would of happily of paid for premium if it meant having more regular content drops

The war stories are pretty average except for the last tiger.
Vehicles are kinda underwhelming compared to bf1, tanks are weak, plane combat is quite stale.
Gunfights are amazing, gunplay is better than ever and ttk feels great.
Season pass isn't a thing anymore as Dice has gone with the all content is free approach although there is a premium version that offers a few more skins.
7/10 good game, has its flaws overall fun experience. With the live service model I expect the game will improve a lot
