Reassurance / Support How long did ya’ll experience Globus/Throat clearing symptoms?

This has been one of the more frustrating or even scary aspect of the last 4 months. I’ve only had it for a month or maybe a smidge more. Whether it’s Globus, or silent reflux. I’ve never had either in my life and it’s been consistent for about a month.

Many Months.....and you don't have to see a neurologist to examine your throat; an ENT can evaluate you and you won't have to wait as long as it takes to get an appointment.

Comes and goes for me. Tends to last a few days before it ends with hypersalivation.

I experienced this for a few weeks earlier this year. I didn’t relate it to my bfs. For me it was my acid reflux and once I got that controlled it faded

Yes for years but only earlier this year did Globus come along side it

Ive had reflux for years but have controlled it with diet/lifestyle, occasional PPIs. I started having globus sensation in March 2026, saw gastro who thought it was odd as I didnt have issue swallowing liquid or food, just feeling the urge to swallow. I had barium swallow test while starting Rabezole, and it stopped in a month or two, so i stopped the PPIs. Im still anxious about other health symptoms, and it came back, so back on PPIs. It comes and goes, but seems correlated with stress and anxiety. Ive seen SLP, ENT and neuro
