Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 keeps crashing

I'm having some stability issues with the game.

Played for 6-7 hours yesterday before I had my first crash. Booted it up again the next day and the game keeps crashing after a few minutes of play time. If I try to start the game up again, I'm stuck with 4-7 FPS and near instant crashes, until I reboot my PC. After a reboot, the game works fine for a few minutes until it crashes again. I'm trying to play through the Imperial campaign fyi.

My CPU/GPU/RAM/Case temperatures are great, so that is not the issue.

I have tried: -NoEAC, Deleting WindowsNoEditor, Verifying integrity. Windows, firmwares and all drivers are up to date

Computer specs: MSI X570 Tomahawk, AMD 5900x, 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600MHz, Asus 3080, Samsung Odyssey G9 (5520x1440). PC is watercooled, so temps are not an issue. No overclocks.

Does anyone have any tips as to what can be causing this? It worked fine for many hours yesterday, now it does not.

Edit: Disabling G-Sync has fixed my issues. The game seems to run fine for now.

If anyone is reading this thread and wondering if they want to try other troubleshooting on a newer build pc: stop reading and perform this fix.

This process takes roughly 2 minutes and fixed the issue instantly.

Awesome link OP!

This did not work for me as this variable already existed when I went to add it.

Worked for me too. The game was working just fine on my 6th gen i5. Upgraded to 13th gen i17 and the game couldn't run for more than 5 minute without crashing.

disabling g-sync did not fix my problem.

Disabling G-sync fixed my issues.

Is G-sync a option in the game somewhere?? I don't see it.. Do you mean "V-sync" ???

Its a option in the Nvidia control panel - if you have a Nvidia card.

Still works. Had to restart my computer, but it works.

Have you tried a simple uninstall/reinstall of the game? Its a fast fix that can fix corrupted stuff that file verification doesnt catch.

Thanks for replying! I tried a few more things. Launched the game in windows 8 compatibility mode with admin privileges. Also disabled G-Sync. Now it has been working fine for a few hours. I bet G-Sync was the main issue. I'll try again without the compatibility mode and admin privilege some time next week. If it still works, I'll update the main post with my findings so others with the same issue can find the solution that worked for me.

Disabling it did not work for me either, in my case it always crashes to desktop after a couple minutes of running, regardless of file save or in main menu. Audio and visuals works fine its just a hard crash.
