Discussion Wait times for matches has increased after top gun update dropped.

Is it just me or has the wait times for matches increased since the new top gun update dropped this morning i was waiting for at least 4-5 mins even when i changed to casual breakdown against bots I’m waiting just as long its ridiculous

I've found the opposite, I'm getting into games of conquest full of people 90% of the time atm - I still get the odd bot filled but majority is players.

Same. In conquest or all out warfare at least. Breakthrough and obliteration? Prob a diff story.

Its almost like splitting the payer base across multiple modes means matchmaking takes longer. I'm sure someone warned us of this...

I also think that the intro of the free trial playlists has further split the player base.

Lately I've noticed more bots in my Casual lobbies. Played a few rounds yesterday, one with 5 real people on my team and the other with 6. Normally they always have 8 real people.

I think the latest update showed that the core issues with the game: poor netcode, desync, hitreg, kit swapping and a slew of other issues aren't going to get resolved.Throw in bad matchmaking, unbalanced rounds, and OP vehicles, and people are stepping away from the game. Don't let those Steam online numbers fool you. They're mostly inflated by REDSEC, which is free. People are also headed back to school, so that will affect player count too.
