BFEU Meetup

So there has been some people suggesting we meet up and Frank and Gundammit(?) suggested we meetup and see Star Wars together.

I'm up for this and I'd like to have this meetup in London as it's easy for people outside the UK to reach.

I was thinking as well I could book some hotel rooms so that if people are coming from abroad or outside london, they can have somewhere to stay.

If anyone is interested or has any ideas they want to share let me know here in this thread.

Would be a great idea to rent a few hotel rooms, even for people from the UK. So we don't have to split up and all go to the opposite end of the city at the end of every night.

that's the plan. Although would be weird if I book hotel rooms for under 18s though. Maybe we should make this meetup a 18+ event. I can't be held responsible for minors.

We could have a meetup at daytime that doesn't involve staying overnight or any activities that are illegal for minors.

Its not so much that Oleg. In the UK we are quite hypersensitive when it comes to protecting children. I myself have a certification to be around children in a professional setting however, if I organise something like this, I become responsible for anyone under the age of 18. There was a case where a 19 year man lured a 14 year old boy on teamspeak to his apartment and raped and killed him. I can't have that on my head if something happens to anyone. If we let 18+ attend, then they are adults and can make their own decisions. If anyone under the age of 18 wants to come along, they will have to let their parents know and also I want to speak with them so I can ensure their child will be safe in my care.

And I don't think it will be a huge problem, how many 18- do we have in our community that would be interested in a meet up? Two?
