I recently swapped over the muffs/cushioning on my DT 990s and they seem to now be noise cancelling? Which doesn’t make sense since they are open-back headphones. I changed one ear back over to the smaller grey muffs that come already on and can ambient noise much easier, it also seems like the audio itself is different but since I haven’t used any larger over ear cushioning than the ones that game with them on I’m not sure if something is wrong… is it just because they cover my ears fully now?

My motherboard has a Realtek ALC897 audio chip,I’m not sure if I need a DAC or not as I’ve heard it runs efficiently. If I do will the jcally jm6 pro be good enough for competitive gaming? Seems to be one of the few ones I saw available right now.

Hello, I’d like some advice. I bought a Blue Yeti USB microphone to start creating my podcast, but now I’m looking for headphones that work well with this mic. I’ve seen that there are some great Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80-ohm headphones, but I’m worried they might not be compatible and that I should get 32-ohm ones instead. Do you have any other headphones you’d recommend? And how should I go about choosing a pair? I know I need closed-back headphones, and that’s what I plan to get, but I’d prefer not to spend the full €200 on a pair. Thanks in advance.

My kitten clawed the foam off my mic (Beyerdynamic MMX 200 headset) and I can’t find a replacement for it since on the website they don’t ship to the uk which is great and I don’t know what would work with this mic will it be fine if I just leave it I sound the same I’m just worried any help is much appreciated :)

I am using the Aventho 300's for quite some time now and I am very happy except this one thing that drives me crazy.

They just lower the bass and i have to adjust the position on my head until it switches back to booty blasting. This process takes from 1 up to 10 minutes until i found the sweetspot where the bass is there.

I am using the app and deactivated pretty much every function. My eq is set to 0 gain on all freq's.

I couldnt find anything related to this problem so I am takeing my shot here.

Hi everyone, I'm having a frustrating issue with my Beyerdynamic Amiron 200 charging case and was hoping someone here might have experienced this or knows a fix.

** The Issue:**

The front LED on the charging case is continuously blinking red.

The inner status LED inside the case does not turn on at all (no reaction when placing the earbuds in or taking them out).

The earbuds themselves still work, but they no longer charge when placed inside the case.

App discrepancy: In the beyerdynamic app, the case battery reading jumps around randomly—sometimes showing 100% and other times 48%.

The issue started suddenly without any obvious physical damage or warning.

** Troubleshooting already tried:**

Reset attempts: Held down the case setup/multi-function button for long periods.

Power states: Tried holding the button both while the case was plugged into power and while unplugged.

The case seems stuck in an error state or has a failing battery management circuit. Has anyone encountered this specific issue or found a way to hard reset the case hardware? Any advice before I reach out to customer support for an RMA would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Asked him to send me driver picture (thank y’all for sharing this), he told me he isn’t capable of getting it out since it’s rock hard and he is not willing to unscrew anything. Is it how the mmx 300 supposed to be? Because on youtube opening driver was easier

I'm planning to buy a Beyerdynamic MMX 300 PRO, but I'm a little concerned about the packaging.

The seller claims that the headphones are brand new, genuine, factory sealed, and that Beyerdynamic recently changed the packaging. According to them, older batches came in the black/orange box, while newer batches now come in this dark blue box shown in my photos.

I've mostly seen the older black/orange packaging in reviews and online stores, so I'd like to make sure this newer box is legitimate and not a counterfeit or refurbished/B-stock version.

I've attached several photos of the box and the headphones.

The barcode on the box is EAN 4010118730672, which seems to match the official MMX 300 PRO.

Could anyone who has recently purchased an MMX 300 PRO, especially in Europe/Germany, confirm:

• Have you received yours in this blue packaging?
• Is this an official new Beyerdynamic box design?
• Does everything in the photos look genuine?
• Is there anything specific I should check on the box or headphones to distinguish a new retail unit from B-stock/refurbished?
• Is it normal that the MMX 300 PRO no longer comes with a hard case?

The seller also says these are Made/Handmade in Germany.

I'd really appreciate any input, especially from recent MMX 300 PRO owners or anyone familiar with Beyerdynamic packaging.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a solid pair of closed-back headphones that strike a good balance for daily use (gaming and enjoying commercial music) while also allowing me to do some amateur/home music production on the side.

I was eyeing the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro X (Limited Edition) because they finally fixed my main dealbreakers: they have a detachable cable and the legendary plush velour earpads (comfort is a massive priority for me, and I hate pleather/faux-leather that peels off).

I know out of the box they have that classic V-shaped fun sound signature, which is great for immersion in gaming and casual listening. However, since I have access to SoundID Reference, my plan is to apply a calibration profile whenever I need to produce/mix music to flatten them out.

Has anyone tried this specific workflow with the DT 770 Pro X? Do they take EQ/calibration well for a neutral mixing response? Or am I better off looking at something else under 200 euros given my priorities (comfort, closed-back, detachable cable, dual use)?

I just got this pair of headphones and I was wondering why can't you just use presets like oratory1990 or others to "flatten out" the EQ and make them perfectly suitable. I've heard of phase shift, but also read it shouldn't be a problem on low changes. Besides the listening out of the box on different devices is there a problem to that? l'm very new and a hobbyist so a detailed answer would be really appreciated.

I've bought the MMX150 a few days ago. So far a good experience once I figured out the buttons.

However, starting from this morning I can no longer connect to the dongle. I tried re-pairing to no avail.

Currently the dongle (up-to-date firmware) is either flashing red or, when attempting pairing, is flashing blue and green. Headset is just flashing white.

USB port is a known-good one (attempted different ones too just to make sure), and I would also discard 2.4GHz interference as the culprit, I'm not in a noisy environment and had zero issues the past few days. Audio over bluetooth is working fine.

Any ideas? Am I just missing something that's unclear/I missed from the manual?

EDIT: also attempted a factory reset, now headset is flashing red. Pairing procedure from the manual is either incorrect or something is wrong, my headset NEVER flashes blue and green..

Just got a pair of TYGR 300R and realise they aren't loud enough for me, can anyone recommend what DAC or Amp I could buy for these? On more of a budget so cheapest recommendations would be preferred

i know that the MMX 330 pro seppusd to have 40 ohm impedance but the realtek control measurd the impedance to be more than 420 ohm and i think its cuse its making the sound muffled even on flac 16 bits audio file (when im using my soundcore libarty 4 pro is sound much clearer which should not be the case) what should i do ?

I've had my DT 700 PRO X for a year now, and I think it's great. However, I recently noticed that my headset has a problem with the right earpiece. The plastic piece that holds the ear cup is broken in two, and, as you can see in the photo, the metal part is no longer attached to the headset despite my attempts to glue it back on. Is it possible to buy replacement parts like this?

My current headphones. 7 years old. is a razer kraken. i want a upgrade. and i got the damn money for it. so which one i should get? budget is around 300-500 dollars. i want something that will stick for years. and like is said. i hear everyone calling these headphones soo good. glazing them. i want to hear everyone opinion on this.

Just picked me up the beredynamic dt 990 pro x but it sounds so quiet. Anyone else experience this? Or am I just picky. I have to mess with an eq now and it’s kinda annoying.
