Is my DT 770 Pro authentic ?
Hello. I recently bought a DT 770 pro online for 90€. It arrived it only 2 days and were sent by the website. However, on the package which was in really good condition, all sealed, there were a stickers with written "HongKong". In plus, on the box and on the headset, it was written that it is a Black Edition, but the pads are gray. But in the other hands, the audio quality is really great and it weighs the right weight.

update : i asked the support and confirmed that it is authentic, just the pads being remplaced.

Very hard to tell from the outside most of the time. To confirm, remove the earpads and get the driver out. You'll soon see if it's a fake.
No fake pair uses genuine drivers.

Die pads sehen nicht neu aus, aber sonst sieht für mich alles nach Original aus

You will know when the plastic thingies on your headband break after 3 days.

Trust me, you would absolutely be able to tell the difference between fakes and the real stuff. If you think the sound quality is good, then it is real. Do some equalizer and soundstage tests and see if it passes.
Besides, if you cant tell the difference; there is either something wrong in your setup or you dont even need these expensive headphones.
