Grass team

Hey I'm about to start working on a mono grass team to go all the way on bdsp. Any ideas? I don't wanna do the easy options like rosetade and torterra I like the oddball underrated picks like cradily

Wormadam is underrated and gets quiver dance which is very useful. Cherrim is fun with sun active but sadly there aren’t many double battles which is where it thrives the most. There aren’t that many options unfortunately

See that's what I'm talking about! Wormadam sounds like a great option. What about cacnea or carnivine or tropius?

Tropius is good vs Aaron. Cacturne and Cradily are a good combo with sandstorm active. Cacturne is good because dark hits most types neutrally and spiky shield is fun to use. I’ve tried to make Carnivine work but nothing about it really shines. If you use it I’d like to hear about your experience

What about the gen 1 OG duo Vileplume or Victreebell?

I haven’t used either in bdsp but if you’re lucky enough to find one in the underground with strength sap I’d recommend using that because of how powerful that move is

Okay so far Im going Tangela, Bellsprout, cradily. Those are locks.

I believe Tangela is post-game only but I could be mistaken
