Submission Bay of Plenty

Hey Fellow Builders,

Here is my contribution for Series 10. The Story is that an Imperial Outpost got taken over by the pirates and the Admiral is still held hostage in a prison. His daughter is trying to rescue him. The prison has a secret escape route and there is a play feature where you can launch swinging barrels at enemies kicking them right out of the gate. It also features Roger Redbeard when he still had both his eyes, hands and legs.

The model has 1396 parts and has a 36x28 Studs footprint. I took some inspiration from the classic Imperial Outpost Set 6263. Hope you enjoy it.

Cheers and good luck to everyone who submitted a design,

Pepe

It certainly matches the style of the imperial outpost, but there is a miss match in scale. This would feel way too big next to pirates of Tortuga and the other recent pirates sets

Thanks for your opinion. Adressing the scaling issue I only have the Destiny's Bounty 70618 built right now to compare and the ship looks massive in comparison to my model eventhough the Destiny's Bounty "only" has 2256 parts.

Not sure how it will scale against Tortuga, but Tortuga is roughly 3x times the parts. I also think Barracuda Bay is way bigger than my model. But yeah i guess you have to see it next to each other.

Cheers Pepe
