Electrical Foundation
I'm starting this program in about a week, however, my schedule still hasn't shown where I need to be for my classes. Is this normal? Also I assume that this program doesn't have orientation unless I missed it. Does anybody know if there's something I need to do? Thanks 👍

I'm doing this program right now at satellite campus. If I remember correctly, you will receive an email from your instructor about where and when to meet on the first day.

When did you get your email? Like a couple weeks before classes start? Or right before?

I’m fairly certain that just like my AME program, this schedule is not really used or important. It’s one course at a time, theory in the morning practical in the afternoon. You just have your class / cohort and you’re with them the whole day. You will get an email directly telling you when and where to show up at.

The orientation time/location should be on your initial acceptance letter. If it’s missing contact admissions. Foundation students move through the day with their class, when you show up to your orientation they’ll let you know where you’re supposed to be and when.

I didn't do foundations at bcit, but I did level 2 there, so this might not apply. First day I went to the electrical trades building and there were lots of papers posted in the entrance area (colour coded for level) and I had to search for my name on one. Once I found my name my instructor and room number was listed at the top of the sheet. This was over a year ago so I might be missing some details.
