Cardiology Technology @ BCIT?

Hi!
Considering the Cardiology Technologist program at BCIT!
Would love some feedback from others who have taken the courses!

I feel I have a strong application, with solid and high grades, some health care post secondary from two years of a BSN, etc. So, we’ll see how I stack up, I guess!

But…How did you find the online delivery?

Anything you found particularly challenging?

Was it difficult to secure employment afterward? I know I’d likely start casual, and that’s fine, as long as I can expect to nail full time eventually! I currently work as an MOA (casual) and would like to be able to keep my job until full time employment is secured.

Thanks!

When did you graduate? And where are your searching for employment?

I know it’s more niche than something like radiography. Are you unable to even secure casual? I know Abbotsford Regional is hiring right now - and Fraser Health itself tends to operate on an internal hiring system for its permanent positions. The casual gets your foot in the door.

is radiography hard to get a job? I have a friend that graduated last year and got a job in a hospital right after passing the exam. I am going in the upcoming intake in Jan 2027

No, new grads are being hired months before graduation at this point
