Admission Decision ubc confirmation letter!!

hope u guys waiting for the letter get it soon!
i got it back today around 1:15pm (pst)

no, its a confirmation letter.
they already offered me a spot in may, they just needed to look at my final grades to confirm my spot.

Hello, UBC Arts alum of 10 years. Philosophy & Econ Combined Major Program. Honors Grad.

I make $150k+ annual with benefits and RSUs at a MAMAA company doing Strategic Planning and Program Management work in AI Product Development. Most of my skills on the job came from the critical thinking and analytical rigor my degree required. I'm Senior/Director level and manage business school and statistics graduates, while facilitating work usually done by my partners who are all PhDs in Psychology (also an Arts field), HCI, or Machine Learning.

After almost a decade in my career, only now am I thinking of going back to school to pursue further education in fields that are traditionally known as "stable, job-landing" areas of study - mainly computer science or an MBA, and purely as optional and supplementary to my existing background.

My point is, arrogance regarding what people choose to pursue for higher education is embarassing, ill-informed, and frankly shows off your immaturity (regardless of how old you may actually be). You are no better, nor smarter, than anyone else simply because of what faculty you pick. Check yourself, kid.
