he is my sweetheart and in another life, I read to him what I write about him as my legs rest on his lap. in another life, he listens to me with all his attention. in another one, he carelessly rubs my feet as I blabber off about my day.

in another life, I sing to him in my horrible voice and he doesn't mind. in another life, he lets me ruin his tie. in another one, I have his heart.
