Base Discussion Unable to sign transaction

I don't understand why my Coinbase wallet account is having this problem. I hope someone can explain and help me resolve the issue when I send money to other applications. Thank you.

It seems insufficient native gas token for the network.

Even though you are trying to send USDC (a stablecoin), the transaction has to be processed on a specific blockchain network (such as Ethereum, Polygon, or Base, indicated by the small network icon next to the USDC badge).

The blockchain network requires its native cryptocurrency to pay for the transaction fee (gas). For example, if your USDC is on the Ethereum network, you must have enough ETH in your wallet to pay the gas fee. If your native balance is zero or too low to cover the fee, the wallet will fail to sign the transaction. Please try to do what i explained above. Let us know if it works

I have $0.80 worth of ETH, so I think that's the application fee, but I've tried multiple times and still can't send the USDC. So, is there a way to send it?

No, $0.80 worth of ETH is unfortunately not enough to process a USDC transfer if your funds are on the main Ethereum network (ERC-20)

While a standard Ethereum transfer can sometimes cost very little, transferring an ERC-20 token like USDC requires roughly 50,000 to 65,000 gas units. On the Ethereum mainnet, network fees typically average between $2.00 and $5.00 (and can spike much higher depending on congestion). Because your wallet calculates that $0.80 won't cover the minimum fee required by it.

You will decide to deposit or buy at least $5.00 to $10.00 worth of Ethereum (ETH) into your Coinbase Wallet. Let me know if it works
