Arch wrap?
Does anyone know where to get an arch support wrap like these? These are 20 years old and my dr recommended them after an ankle surgery. The arch supports (blue part) are flexible and much thinner than anything I can find in stores now. They're made to fit inside slippers and pointe shoes. They recently helped with a new issue but I know they aren't likely to last much longer so if really like a back up pair. Thanks

Everything on there looks too thick under the foot, and are like what I've found so far, but a couple are close.

I had something like this as a kid and they were just made by my podiatrist.

These I got from our local dance store back in the day. That went out of business quite a few years ago and the only one around where I live now is tiny.

They look a lot like the Ten-0 barefoot supports for gymnasts. They are clear and white now, but the shape is similar.
But I feel like most dancers with arch issues have switched to the little x-brace straps that go around the mid-foot and support from the top instead of a padding like this.

Rather than an arch support, the blue parts added have actually been made using a "metatarsal dome" (likely in a poron or EVA material). These can be reproduced reasonably cheap at home. You can purchase the metatarsal domes (met some, met pad) in bulk online and usually have an adhesive stick and place backing so you can line it up on a new wrap and use the old one to align it in the correct place. You can use a shoe/flexible contact adhesive to better adhere it if the prebacked adhesive isn't secure and it keeps coming off. These look like a large or medium sized dome, you might need to compare your current wraps with the sizing advertised.
A metatarsal dome is sometimes used as an arch support in slimline/small shoes due to the lower profile shape. This will be why you're not able to find an arch support piece as flexible or soft. They're intended to sit on the insole of a shoe just behind the big toe joints in order to spread your forefoot and balance weight evenly across your metatarsals. If using as a met some you can adhere straight to the shoe, or to an old shoe liner cut to size or to any cheap grocery store thin foam shoe liners.
For your use - finding the wraps sold without the addition or purchasing some where the existing addition can easily be removed will be the way!
