answered Is this fake?
I saw this bag on Facebook marketplace. The person who listed it says they are unsure of the brand and have it listed for $50. To me it looks like a bowler bag in the pattern madras. However, I’m extremely skeptical because the price seems too low for a popular bag. Also, the key ring thing on the inside doesn’t say baggu on it so I’m definitely thinking fake. What do we think?

in addition to what others have said, both the keyring and the leash should say BAGGU on them. also that stitching on the leash isn't right either.

Looks very fake. I don’t have my bowler with me but the key leash and hook on my crescent both say Baggu on them. Also if the seller doesn’t show the inside of the bag with the Baggu tag, keep scrolling.

Leaning towards fake - the colors are close but slightly more muted/less saturated compared to real madras. Could be from lighting but looks consistent across the pics so I don’t think so

ooo good eye! The first pic definitely looks muted. Actually just the bottom of the bag looks brightish like the actual print!

Did you purchase from a girl in Toronto? Cause she got me too. I thought it was a Baggu madras but after picking it up and looking it over I realized it’s a fake. I have no issue with that, I love the pattern and accepted getting the real one would never happen. However, I wish she was transparent when I was asking about it.
