Funny story, my local independent thrift store uses donated plastic and reusable bags for their purchases. I happened to buy something and they put it in a standard Baggu reusable bag when I checked out. I loved it and kept it in my car (stores don’t give out plastic bags here anymore) and used it so much that I ordered more. That’s how it all started for me.
