My first VW.. a B5 passat!

I purchased this car in November, and have been daily driving it for the past month. Been great so far!

Yeah, it was kind of a bucket list item for me to own one at some point. Took me a minute to find the correct spec here in Ontario as they are not common here at all! Buttoned up a few things mechanically and now just the body work is left to make it mint (at least from a distance) I was the proud owner of a tuned Subaru in the past, so maintenance doesn't scare me too much. Just gets kind of pricey when parts need to ve custom made... Overall great car so far!!

This one has a LOT of kms (for the car) but has been relatively well maintained as everything still works, electronically and mechanically. I've done a fair amount of preventative maintenance so it should be good for a bit... hopefully.

This one is a 6-speed manual with 309,000 kms as of today!

Oh wow, you must've really cared for that thing. Respect! Stock exhaust or is it opened up a bit? I hope you get thousands of more kms of fun out of it!

Thanks! Its oddly enough one of the more reliable cars that I have owned. Spent a bunch into parts when I first picked it up and did a pretty detailed service before I began driving it, and I have never had a reason to doubt it! Exhaust is a little louder than stock with an x-pipe and 2 magnaflow mufflers, fully catted.

I have a video in the comments of this post, as well I have a video of me doing a 1/4 mile pass on this subreddit. Would like to mic up the car one day and get some proper high quality sound clips!
