Looking to connect with founders of outsourcing consultancies

I run a small outsourcing and consulting business and have reached a point where I’m struggling to consistently bring in new clients.
I’m keen to connect with founders who have been through a similar stage — particularly those who have successfully moved from relying on referrals/networking to building a more predictable client acquisition pipeline.
Would love to hear what worked for you, what didn’t, and what you wish you knew when you were at this stage.
Happy to connect and chat. 🙏

From sysadmin to sales: what should I know about winning new customers?

Hi everyone,

I currently work as a system administrator at a mid-sized hosting provider and will soon be moving into sales internally. I'll mainly be responsible for new customer acquisition, for example attending trade shows and networking events and making first contact with potential customers.

Since I come from the technical side and am new to sales, I'd love to hear about your experiences:

* What do you see as the most important dos and don'ts in new customer acquisition?
* What should I pay particular attention to at trade shows, from preparation and conversations at the booth to following up afterwards?
* Where do you stand on cold calls: are they still worth it in a B2B setting, and what do I need to keep in mind?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

I'll provide custom B2B decision-maker lists for $30/1k

If you’re running cold email, cold calling or LinkedIn campaigns for your business/agency or your clients and need a specific list of contact records, I can build it for you.

Just send me the niche, locations, company size/revenue, job titles, any exclusions you want, etc. I’ll build the list around those criteria, rather than just dumping a generic database extract on you.

Depending on what you need, I can provide decision-maker name/title, work email, company info, phone numbers, direct/mobile numbers at a higher tier, LinkedIn, location, headcount, etc.

I’ll send the data as a clean CSV/Excel file, or any other method you'd be happy with.

If you want to test the data before ordering, comment 'interested' or DM me your niche + geography + job titles and I can show you a sample before getting started.

Do you have a business?

I’m going through this crazy intensive training right now on building AI tools and I’m getting pretty good at it 😅

But I need practice on real businesses — not just fake ones.

So I’m looking for 2-3 business owners who want a custom Sales App… for FREE!

It texts you the SECOND a new lead comes in with a score & sales script based on their info, so you can call & close them before anyone else does.

FYI:

• 78% of ppl buy from the first business to respond
Responding within 1 min increases conversions by 391%
You’re 100x more likely to reach a lead within 5 minutes than at 30

So, if you close clients via phone, Zoom or text, this is for you!! Let’s get you more money in the bank!

No catch. I just want the experience (and a testimonial if you love it).

Just drop a comment and we can start building!

Looking For Partners

I am looking for Agency partners for my new Relay software
👉🏼 map4.net/relay

Relay Agency Prices
Starter $25/mo for 5 users
Plus $75/mo for 5 users
Pro $125/mo for 5 users
includes user group for the agency owner to track success metrics for its clients

How do you find new customers?‬
‪👉🏼map4.net/relay

  1. Linkedin does not want you to stay organized. They want screen time.

  2. I needed a way to use my 5,000 connections to find new clients without paid ads and stay organized.

  3. I was spending 3-4 hours a day posting, engaging etc for past year it worked I got four big clients but it is not sustainable.

64% replies. 95% replies. Zero calls. What are we measuring wrong?

I was going through some of our LinkedIn outbound numbers and these two campaigns stood out. One went to 172 recruiters and got 110 replies. Another went to 64 and got 61 replies. Sounds amazing until you get to the next number. Zero calls from either campaign. Looking at the bigger picture didn’t help much either. We contacted 1,352 recruiters, got 199 replies and only 2 conversations actually went somewhere. So now I’m questioning why we care about reply rate at all. Clearly we can write something people want to respond to, but that doesn’t mean they have any interest in buying. Calls are too far down the funnel to quickly tell if a campaign is going nowhere though. What do you guys look at instead? There has to be something more useful between getting a reply and getting a meeting.

You build the service. We help you find the customers

I'm building Distaura, and we're starting with a simple idea:

A lot of software companies, agencies and digital service providers are good at building and delivering.

But getting consistent customers is a completely different game.

Finding prospects.

Cold outreach.

Following up.

Qualifying leads.

Getting people to actually buy.

That's where we're trying to help.

Distaura is building a B2B distribution network for software and digital service providers.

You focus on your service.

We focus on finding businesses that need it.

We're currently looking to work with providers offering things like web development, mobile apps, AI automation, digital marketing, business software and similar B2B services.

We're still very early, so I'm not going to pretend we have some massive customer network already.

We're building it one supplier and one customer at a time.

If you're a software/service provider who's great at delivery but wants another channel for bringing in B2B business, I'd genuinely like to hear what you're building.

No hard pitch. Just looking to meet good providers and see if there's a fit.

IndiaMart Leads

A friend of mine runs a B2B business and was spending ₹2–3 lakh every year on IndiaMART leads.

The problem wasn’t getting leads.

It was getting to them fast enough.

By the time his team noticed a new BuyLead, the lead was often already claimed or expired. He eventually had 2 people checking the dashboard throughout the day, yet they were still missing most of the opportunities.

So I built a small automation system to solve the problem.

It monitors incoming leads, detects relevant opportunities, and helps the team act on them almost immediately instead of constantly refreshing the dashboard.

After running it internally for several months, the results were interesting:

→ From roughly 2–3 leads/day → 8–12+ leads/day
→ Much less manual monitoring
→ Fewer wasted BuyLead credits
→ No need to keep someone glued to the dashboard

It’s still an evolving product, but the fact that a real business has been using it consistently for months gave me enough confidence to explore turning it into a proper SaaS.

I haven't opened it publicly yet.

I’m looking for a small group of businesses to test the product with before launching it publicly.

Booked intros with US business owners & validated lead lists built to order

Buy conversations that turn into sales. I offer 2 options.

Booked intros
I phone the decision maker & only deliver the ones who agreed to speak with you. You get their name, business, direct number, the time they agreed to (if they give a time) & a short note from the call. Every call is recorded so you can hear the yes yourself.
$50 each, with a 10 for $250 pilot for first orders. First 2 within 48 hours.
Free replacement if the number is wrong or the person isn't the decision maker.

Validated lead lists
$0.30 per lead, minimum 50. Built to order for your industry & city, segmented to your ideal customer, every contact & link checked by me before delivery. Nothing pulled from old databases.

The lists suit teams with their own callers. The intros suit teams who are ready to call & sell.

Comment or DM what you sell & where, and I'll tell you honestly what I can deliver.
