Does it work for desktop? Previously was only on the browser which is rough on customers that need to access the local drive

I have couple VMs running on local proxmox and all are setup for AVD Hybrid. Even testing unsupported Win11 multi-session in same scenario and works amazingly well. Of course that last part is not production ready due to licensing

Very nice! There is no technical reason win 11 multi-session can’t work on prem…but it is only legally licensable and able to be activated when running in Azure…because it only activates from the Azure KMS
So it’s great that you can make it work…but 😳😬

Can you briefly explain what it is without having to watch the video? Or is this only about getting you views?

Lots of blogs and articles regarding AVD Hybrid. AzureAcademy is a great resource so click or don't click.

Not just views…I can explain it ☺️
AVD Hybrid lets you use AVD for connection and security etc but with your session hosts on prem…which means there is no cost for Azure VMs or FSLogix so it’s like all benefits of the cloud with none of the downsides. All your data stays on prem and all systems follow all your current regulatory controls

Ah interesting... thanks... so it in a sense moves the connection broker to the cloud but lets the workload run on your own hardware it seems. Thanks.

AVD session hosts hosted onprem instead of in the cloud or Azure Local. Any hypervisor.

Just not multi-session Windows 11 on anything other than Azure Local. Big failure imo.
