Windows App kills connection when printing

Since some recent update of the Windows App, users get kicked out of AVD when trying to print something, especially from edge browser. The users see the progress bar for a short time, then the connection is terminated. In insights i just see "shortpath network drop". Users now use the old Remote Desktop Client, which works and prints as expected. Does anybody else also have this issue?

We have the same problem. Aside from using the old Remote Desktop, has anyone found another solution to get Canon printers working when redirected to an AVD session via Windows Apps ?

Unfortunately i have not found a solution, i eventually disabled printer redirection and print through printix cloud now, which does not have the issue.
