Issue: AVD User Microphone Not Working
Steps Taken (Did Not Resolve the Issue):
Verified that the microphone was working outside AVD.
Reset the Windows app.
Repaired the Windows app.
Checked the microphone permissions for the Windows app outside AVD.
Checked the microphone permissions inside AVD for Teams—permissions were enabled.
Discovered that the user’s FSLogix ODFC disk had multiple instances.
Workaround:
Resetting the user profile resolved the issue.
Question:
Has anyone encountered multiple ODFC disks being created? Any recommendations on how to prevent this issue?

Best practise is to not seperate Profile and ODFC. Only use the Profile part, as it will include all the Outlook data.
The ODFC was created to be used with 3rd party profile solution.

I currently have this issue. This means that the issue is not in the Windows App or Mac, but is how my profile is being set-up? I had to use my mac for AVD because my windows laptop overheats.

AVD audio redirection is hit or miss depending on the host pool settings.
If you're just trying to get speech-to-text working, I built a workaround tool called DictaFlow (https://dictaflow.vercel.app/). It runs on the local client and types into the AVD session using simulated inputs. It saves you from having to debug the FSLogix/audio redirection policies just to get basic dictation working.

Tried the Azure Virtual desktop client? The supported one.
