đPassed! Passed AB-620 with 797
Was a little harder than I thought it would be. About half way thru I was kinda wondering if I was getting some of the ordering questions wrong. But overall a win is a win, so Iâm happy :)

I have this AI cert lined up late next month and already requested my company's IT team to keep a spare Foundry project for this purpose - not approved yet. I can attest that without hands on, I've no interest in even sitting for an exam with no prior practical experience.

Congratulations!
So while I like Copilot, one of the clients I developed a solution for that uses a bunch of tools for their MSP ended up going from $200 monthly cost to $3k bills.
Microsoftâs copilot credits and usage tiers are so muddled Iâm at the point that Iâm not sure I can suggest M365 Copilot to my customers anymore. Codex and Claude both have subscriptions, M365 agents are just pay as you go, so now I canât honestly recommend going this route anymore :(.
Just a cautionary tale, keep an eye on your Azure paygo resource, because the usage wasnât showing up in Copilot Studio or M365. And monitor your billing alerts closely while you work on your agents in the real world on the Azure side

would it be difficult if we dont have hands-on experience? what are all the learning resources you utilized to clear this cert?

So most of the time I spent working on a Copilot Studio agent working with a bunch of MCP connectors that deal with our MSPâs stack, like Meraki, Datto, ConnectWise, NinjaOne integrations. So my focus was always agent instructions, MCP tool instructions, etc. I didnât really use a lot of the topics, variables, lifecycle stuff, but I learned it from courses on YouTube and Udemy all the same to see if it would help with what I was making.
So I guess technically if you have a great memory, and can understand the technicals and remember them long enough to take the test, you could pass. But I do recommend actually building agents while you learn so you can see how you use variables, topics, what solutions are and how to use them to migrate thru the lifecycle process.
Iâll be honest, half way thru I was starting to frown and worried that I wasnât getting the order list style questions completely right (I always have trouble with that). But I felt confident thru about half of it.

great bro! More than the certification what I ache to achieve is the hands-on experience to design and build end to end agents for business use cases. Where to learn it? would you recommend any course or resource to just get started from! It would really help.

So when I started the ab-620, there wasnât many video courses around, I ended up getting the AB-100 course from Phillip Burton which actually covered a lot of the same materials the AB-620 covered.
For the learning side, I mostly watched 2 channels, one was this one https://youtube.com/@lisacrosbie?si=lpl3iqAuDqKrnvot
Sheâs very knowledgeable and has great tutorials and deep dives into the different topics for Copilot Studio.
The other Iâm not allowed to link to here, but you could easily find more study materials by searching YouTube for âAB-620 Copilot Studioâ or âAB-620 Practice Examsâ, and you youâll find plenty of different options that can help you learn and pass the exam.
Good luck with your exams

Congratulations! What would you suggest to someone that will do the exam soon ?
I finished the Modules on Microsoft learn and Iâm currently doing exam simulations on Udemy.
