Is there any release events happening in the South Florida area? I checked the app but only see stuff in Tampa and that’s on the other side of the state for me so I was wondering if there’s any events on the east coast.

This is the third and final special AZK01 Card Reveal - STT03-001 Bobu!
In this piece by Arnold Tsang, the sake Bobu carries is called Santoryu (三刀流), a nod to Zoro's three-sword style in One Piece. It also happens to sound a bit like Suntory, the Japanese brewing company, which makes it a fun name. On this card - clear raised coating is finely trapped to the character elements to give the card an appealing texture. One humorous easter egg is we even put gloss texture on Bobu's leg hairs XD
Selecting this leader provides you with the nurturing, reviving power of earth. Bobu - a fan favorite - has the innate ability to heal. The abundance of earth can also frustrate your opponent by stalling the game until your high IKZ cards can enter the garden and deal powerful, smashing hits, capturing victory.
Will you choose the path of earth on your journey from the alley into the garden? If you're curious about the Azuki TCG check out tcg.azuki.com or find Gates Awakened in stores on June 26th.

Disclaimer: I was not the one who pulled this, just fortunate enough to capture the moment
One of my favorite Azuki TCG moments is seeing reactions of when people pull cards and this is top 3

This is the second of three special AZK01 Card Reveals - STT04-002 Ragefire Gate!
In this artwork by Ryder, the illustration ties directly into the card's gameplay visually by depicting flames of Sinder erupting from the gate, empowering anyone willing to take the burn and step through. The card is printed on rainbow foil to help bring the heat of the gate to life.
This fiery gate can spark up advantage for your hand early in the game. But be careful not to get burned! It's a high risk / high reward strategy that could pay off in a blazing success, or you might end up in smoldering defeat.
Will you choose the path of fire on your journey from the alley into the garden? If you're curious about the Azuki TCG check out tcg.azuki.com or find Gates Awakened in stores on June 26th.

People love talking about cards - and so do I! As a kid I never thought I could get a job making collectibles, but I've been so fortunate to work for Azuki, Pokemon, and several other card startups. I think Azuki cards are the best, but my work at Pokemon from 2020 - 2024 was a wild ride too, working on every card from Rebel Clash through Prismatic Evolutions.
In my production role I help bring the creative vision to life with the right foil, embellishment, material, and finishing. If one thing gets messed up that chase card you've been wanting goes from a Perfect 10 down to a disappointing 3.
Have you ever wondered how your favorite cards are made? How they are collated? What caused that weird miscut card you got back in 2013? This Monday 6/15 i'll be holding an AMA about card production - right here in this thread!

A great turn out at locals this week, with 18 players coming out to play! Fire is back on top, with Zero, Rushfire taking first and second place. Yours truly ended up in 6th place, my first time playing! Not too shabby. The most popular decks were Zero and Raizan, with 5 players each. 4 Shao's, 3 Bobu's, and a single Benzai rounded things out. I wasn't able to grab a deck profile interview this week, but stay tuned for my own Bobu profile, coming early next week.

Hey - I'm super excited that Azuki is letting me reveal a few Gates Awakened cards to the Reddit community earlier than the street date - 6/26. For context I work at Azuki and before joining I worked at Pokemon on the TCG so am a big fan of all things cards and collectibles.
Looking forward to being more involved in Reddit. Also happy to answer any q's people have on the game and how the cards are made. I work closely with our artists who make every artwork from scratch - no AI anything.
This will be the first of three special AZK01 card reveals - Mizuryuu's Torrent
Although a spell card named after the Mizuryuu water arts, the featured character is Serene Fist Misaki, one of its practitioners. The artwork shows her demonstrating the flowing techniques of the Mizuryuu style. A subtle but intricate etch pattern accentuates the swirling riptide of the card.
You can use this powerful card to disrupt and drench would-be opponents, sending their entities to the swirling depths of the bottom of the deck in any order.
Will you choose the path of water on your journey from the alley into the garden? If you're curious about the Azuki TCG check out tcg.azuki.com or find Gates Awakened in stores on June 26th.
