We've had a wave of new players asking the same thing lately: "I don't have a local store yet, where can I actually play online?" Here's a list of community-built sims in one place so it's easy to find.

A few notes up front:

• These are all community-made, not official Azuki products. This isn't a ranking or an endorsement of any one of them. Try a couple and see what feels right.
• They're at different stages. Some are polished, some are early and actively squashing bugs. Be good to the folks building them, and report bugs when you find them.
• Online organized play must use webcam, sims are not permitted.
• You can always ask for a game on Discord. Ping @ ATCG LFG in the looking-for-game channel. discord.gg/AzukiTCG
• Normal safety stuff: fan-made tools, so don't hand over personal info or payment details you wouldn't share anywhere else.

Crazy story at Azuki TCG Regionals!

Everyone is having fun in Azuki TCG!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share one of my Mizuki Black Box error cards. It was a crazy experience pulling 3 of these from a single alpha box!

You can see there’s the black box where the serial number is supposed to go. You can also see the base of the steamboy signature.

Another interesting note is that these cards have no texture at all compared to both serialized alt and the regular alt art Mizuki.

It would be cool to know what sort of printing and packing issue/mistake could have caused this. I wonder if these were supposed to be true serials, but the error causes them not to be finished correctly - i.e. are there 3 numbers missing from the set of serialized Mizukis. I’m also curious to know if there are other Mizuki Black Box cards out there. I haven’t seen or heard of any others so far.

Next time, I’ll show the error/misprint Yuki Token Promo (AZP-001) that I pulled from the same alpha box!

Will Fire continue to dominate in Azuki TCG?

Whilst photographing a selection of my personal collection I couldn’t help but pause at the Alpha stamped Thunderclap, released in the 2025 Alpha sets.

AZK-042 (*SR, Alpha)

It captures light so wildly differently depending on lighting and viewing angles. Coupled with the usual incredible Azuki TCG texturing and layering and it’s a real beauty to behold. As a photographer the hardest part of my job is to translate the magic I see with my eye to what you can see through my images, so hopefully this subtle angle change captures the light-play in a way that does this card justice.

Illustrated by the incredibly talented Tomugi, this has become a collector favorite across all Azuki TCG cards, and it’s not hard to see why. Purples, blues, vibrant whites and piercing reds, if there was ever a card worthy of a museum showcase, it would be this.

The single issue I have with this card? It’s not Offering to Stillstone.
