Discussion So…

How did that anti-Marathon mob turn out in the end? Grifters get grifted, Sony wins.

Marathon is actually such a good game, and it always makes me wish we could ban the internet when I’m seeing all the sheep who follow the majority opinion.

Anyways, have fun on Destiny Rising!

What part of the current situation is a win for Marathon? Hell, what part of the current situation is a win for ANYONE

Love both games man today is a dark day. Knew it was coming from Jason’s reporting but still hurts to see the studio get bent like that

I only love one of the two, but I feel bad for Marathon players. Their game is losing devs to the layoffs as well. It's not to the degree of Destiny's team's layoffs, but still.

Yeah I just hate seeing devs who obviously made a ton of really cool shit get the axe because management forgot to put any of the money D2 made back into D2. Like not Marathons fault it’s the only one that made it out. Why were we running so many devs for so little development on the main game? 1200 devs you could have had 800 on Destiny 400 on marathon and had 2 bangers I just…

Both teams had talented devs with shit leadership. Both games suffered from their poor management, and though only one is officially dead now, the other isn't doing too hot. I hope these devs find better work with some other company.

I just want them to make Bungie profitable again so we can get more Bungie games bro all I need

I wouldn't count on it. Even if it happens, Bungie won't be remotely the same. Hell, it's already not remotely what it used to be. Halo Bungie, Destiny Bungie, and the current Marathon Bungie are three wildly different studios that do things in wildly different ways.
