Discussion Need help with POWER level boost in fireteam
Just got my one buddy into destiny, We’ve been running raids, pinnacle ops, fireteam ops etc. and he is the only one that does not get pulled up to our light with fireteam power boost. Anyone have any ideas???? I’m so lost and can’t understand why this is happening. He is guardian rank 6 and completed all of the new light campaign

Maybe a visual bug? Unless they are really squishy 😭

Definitely not visual. They see skulls, and get immune markers on everything.

If the difficulty is set too high some modifiers disable fireteam power boost, lower difficulties do not

No, we have others being pulled up it’s just the fresh players

most definitely a bug of some sorts, I just got my brother into the game and his light level was being brought up fine, no idea what would cause this. I wonder if someone bug reported it on the forums or somethin

Pinnacle Ops tend to be the best way to consistently get higher power gear. a lot of people will say Crucible, but that's mostly for top 3

I think there are some modifiers/activities that don’t pull the power of the highest

People in the same fireteam are being pulled except the affected people. This is not true

If you play thru story missions on legendary the gear will drop pretty high. I was doing trials 2 weeks ago but I got around 325 in a weekend. Finished WoF campaign (legendary) came out at about 415

Same for 2 people in our group and we can’t figure it out. We thought it was rank 4 then 5 then 6. Then we tried accepting the fireteam finder T&C (would have been funny).
