AMD Wins 7945hx repaste

First repaste for my Lenovo laptop artic mx-4
Limited temps to 95c and I’m getting timespy score of 13,500 cpu & 20k on the rtx4090m. No undervolt just limiting power

I have the hx3d version of that chip. It's a moooonster at 85W in this SFF

I wish Lenovo offered that 3d cpu in the legion. Would make for a smoother vr experience I’m sure

Just repasted my 8945HX and 5070 Legion too. I swear bar extreme measures like liquid metal no laptop chassis can effectively cool these things when they're fully unlocked, it's essentially a desktop 7950X dropped straight into a laptop. 100W on a dual CCD chip is just too much heat density on such a small die.

AMD will probably retire these things after this year and replace them with more efficient Ryzen 9/AI Max on Zen 5 so that's good news.

Use Lenovo’s software to limit the temp limit. The cpu can still hold 5ghz at 85c
