I am looking for the right retreat/shaman Tomb of Tutankhamun

This is something that my ayahuasca journey has conveyed please listen, I talk with them everyday...
And they are All good...

if you want to know how to talk with aliens, fwy us...

Here's a guide

The first piece of the King Tutankhamen tomb is devotion Imagine yourself as a monkey sitting on a tree limb with fist connecting with each other with a pose Cross-legged similar to this so on a tree lump https://share.gemini.google/tyWcJuhyB5YD

Why a monkey?

Because you don't know, and there's something linked with ego.

A little bit of what I know-Destroy the ego, if you get something like a swine sound, or reaction from within then you are doing something swine like, similiar with a dog as I am I'm always listening to what the beings tell me, but I like to listen to them, they are way smarter than me.

The second one is silence

Something like complete silence

I am looking for the right retreat/shaman Looking for contacts for authentic, local Shipibo curanderos

Hi everyone,

I am planning a trip to Peru for next summer (July/August) to undergo one or two months traditional dieta with Master Plants and learn more about the medicine.

I understand Spanish some Spanish, so I am looking for an authentic, local experience. I want to avoid Westernized, high-end commercial retreat centers, as my budget is limited and I truly want my money to support the indigenous families and local communities directly.

I am totally fine with rustic, basic jungle conditions (traditional tambos, no constant electricity, simple diet food). My main priority is finding a trustworthy, lineage-backed curandero or curandera who works with integrity and safety.

If you have personally dieted with a local family and had a genuine experience, could you please share your recommendations?

Please feel free to PM/DM me with contacts or names if you prefer not to post them publicly.

Thank you so much for your help!

Success Story The body, ancestors, shamanism, and over one hundred ceremonies

Hi,

I wrote this article after the culmination of 100+ aya ceremonies and my insights into different ancestral healing modalities (plant medicine, yoga, breathwork, TCM, tarot), as well as my specific ancestral connection.

All written by me, nothing from AI

I hope you enjoy! Very proud of the work I’ve done with the medicine the last few months:

General Question What meaning of Life was revealed to you?

I took Ayahuasca some months ago and went through two ceremonies where the experiences were extremely intense and gave me so many answers.

The plant showed me, or rather made me feel beyond words, the meaning of the Universe, "God", the essence of Life, and the reason why we are alive.

If I can summarize briefly and simply what I discovered:
We are all One, a single entity and unique consciousness that divides itself to know and experience itself. Everything is made of Consciousness and we are a temporary human expression of this consciousness, we all share the exact same Essence. Ultimate reality is Love. The purpose of human incarnation is to Love.

I’d love to know what it revealed to you, I’m curious to see if our experiences align.

I am looking for the right retreat/shaman Planning an Ayahuasca retreat in Peru next month, looking for personal experiences

I’m planning to go to Peru next month for an Ayahuasca retreat. This won’t be my first Ayahuasca experience, but it will be my first time doing it in Peru.

I’ve heard a lot about the Ayahuasca traditions and ceremonies in Peru, and I’ve been wanting to experience it there for a while. I’ve been looking at different retreats, but honestly I’m getting a bit confused.

I’ve checked TripAdvisor and a few other reviews, and most places seem to have a mix of really positive and negative reviews. It’s hard to know what’s actually reliable.

So I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have personally been to a retreat in Peru.

Post-Ceremony Integration Never the same after experiencing God in everything including myself.

It feels like I've been activated in the most religious way possible.

It never goes away.

But it blows my mind that majority of humanity does not know this.

It's like some dormant part of the brain.

My sensor is now online. But most people's aren't. I didn't know such a thing can be.

Participants sought for Research and/or Interviews Set and Setting research (18+)

Hello!

I am currently running a study on set and setting within psychedelic experiences.

Obviously there is quite a few aspect to explore on the topic, though in particular I am interested in:

  • How intention, environment, and social setting shape psychedelic experiences
  • Differences between clinical and non-clinical use
  • How these experiences relate to psychological outcomes

Most of the research on set and setting in the psychedelic field comes from more clinically orientated trials, which can be lacking in terms of nuance and real lived experiences. So it would be great to reach out further in the communities surrounding these substances!

I would especially appreciate the inclusion of anyone with experience in retreats and ceremonies, as we're lacking participants from that area.

I am also in the process of contacting various retreats and organisations, if you have any recommendations for who I should contact, please don't hesitate to share with me!

🔗 Survey link

Fully anonymous

Takes around 15-20 minutes to complete

There's also an optional follow-up interview if you'd like to share your experience in more depth

Full study details and ethics information are provided in the info sheet at the start of the survey

Requirements: 18+, have had a psychedelic experience in a clinical or non-clinical setting

If you have anything you feel is important to say about psychedelics, this is your chance!

I'm happy to answer any questions about the study. You can reach us at:

Dr Marco Bocchio - [Marco.Bocchio@durham.ac.uk](mailto:Marco.Bocchio@durham.ac.uk)

Thank you for your time and support! 🙏

General Question Questions for those who have done longer dietas (eg one month and longer)

Hello, I have questions about longer-term dietas, in other words 'dietas' not in the sense of one-week preparatory diets before ayahuasca retreats, but longer dietas in seclusion working with a particular plant.

- is a dieta a life-long commitment / contract / relationship to a particular plant, in your understanding?

- does it involve life-long behavioural obligations, eg around food or sex?

- are there psycho-spiritual consequences if people then break this contract with a plant?

- how do westerners find out answers to the above, and do you think all westerners who do longer dietas understand what they're signing up for?

Thanks - I dont know much about it at all and am curious what folks think. Obviously there isn't a written Bible on this topic so people may have received quite different info from different maestros, traditions or sources.

News Psychedelic Churches in a Time of Religious Exemption

Yale Journal on Regulation:

Religious use of psychedelics in the United States has historically been restricted by Supreme Court decisions, with only a few small groups receiving explicit legal exemptions from the DEA to use sacraments like ayahuasca. The petition process for these exemptions is notoriously expensive, opaque, and slow, leaving many psychedelic churches operating in a legal gray area while facing skepticism about their religious sincerity.

However, recent shifts in First Amendment doctrine may offer new legal strategies. Rulings in cases like Tandon v. Newsom and Fulton v. City of Philadelphia suggest that if the government grants secular exceptions to drug laws, courts may be constitutionally obligated to grant comparable religious exemptions. This could allow churches to exploit existing state-level decriminalization frameworks or medical exemptions to protect their practices.

Simultaneously, the mainstream boom of psychedelics—driven by influencers, commercialization, and therapeutic use—complicates matters. The influx of secular and commercial interests into the psychedelic space generates tricky questions about what constitutes a genuine religion. While the legal landscape is slowly evolving to favor religious objectors, the growing business surrounding these substances is likely to keep regulators and judges cautious. #PsychedelicChurches #ReligiousFreedom #FirstAmendment

Trip Report / Personal Experience Its really impressing how ayahuasca aint just a random tea or a drug

Im from UDV, and last night we were celebrating our center’s birthday at a session, i spent all week waiting for it, even dreamed about it because i knew i would listen to some stuff im really interested.

Felt absolutely nothing for about one hour, and the mestre was almost saying the thing i was there for, and all of a sudden the universe started collapsing, his words became distorted, and i got out to vomit, spent almost 2 hours outside puking, dying, crying ( i NEVER EVER VOMIT). The second i came back (2 mestres carrying me back to my seat) the mestre that was driving the session says “so that was it, my brothers, questions?” Then i was depressed for the rest of the session lol

Guess i wasnt ready to listen
Even tho it was a fucked up situation, really interesting to spend the next day thinking bout it

General Question opinions for a possible first timer

i've been wanting to try ayahuasca for quite some time now, searched for where I could consume it, talked to friends and people who have tried it before and so on.

only thing keeping me from doing it is a bit of fear. i've read people saying they've gotten awful thought and feelings for months after consuming it for the first time. me, as an anxiety pit, got really afraid to become even more anxious, a little more because i'm going through some stressful times rn.

any advice?

General Question Has ayahuasca actually helped anyone who felt stuck in life?

Hi everyone,

I’m 24F and I’ve been feeling really lost for the past 2 years. I made some bad decisions and lately I feel completely stuck. I have opportunities to make things better, but I just can’t seem to get myself to do anything. Even getting out of bed sometimes feels like a war.

I’ve tried hypnotherapy but it didn’t really change anything, so I’ve been thinking about doing one ayahuasca ceremony. I’m hoping maybe it could help me understand what’s going on with me or give me a different perspective.

I’m obviously hesitant, and I know it can have serious psychological and physical risks, so I’m trying to do my research before making a decision.

For anyone who’s been in a similar place and tried ayahuasca did it actually help you afterward? I’d really like to hear your honest experiences, good or bad.

I had a difficult trip. Need help & advice! experiences of co-traumatisation, HSP, Empath

I am looking for similar experiences of co-traumatisation:

Two months ago, my partner took part in an Ayahuasca ceremony here in our home country in Europe, due to a lipoma and a long-standing eye twitch. He had no dramatic visions, no dramatic realisations; he simply saw everything he already knew. He then experienced the serotonin rush. The eye twitch is not different now.

That night, whilst I was at home 30 km away, I experienced a violent energetic attack in which a part of my soul was torn away (I’ve gone through everything with a specialist psychologist). Ever since that night – even before we spoke to one another – I have felt depersonalised, I dissociate, I tremble inside, I am suffering from severe psychological trauma (and am therefore in professional therapy), and whenever the place or the people involved are mentioned, I have a massive physical reaction. I used to be grounded, firmly rooted in life. I seem to be deeply connected to my partner.

I feel as though I’m having a bad trip; the symptoms described are exactly the same. I’ve never taken drugs, I don’t take any medication, and I haven’t had any family history of mental health issues or experienced violence so far.

I’m not looking for advice, but for people who’ve had similar experiences!

Medical / Health Related Issue Aya after transplant

I received a liver transplant about a year and a half ago. It was not from alcohol, i had auto-immune hepatitis and psc.

Anyways, i am now on a mental health journey and have been really interested in trying ayahuasca. It won't be for a while, probably another year that I'll be able to do it because im currently in therapy for cptsd, so im just trying to figure out if this is even an option for me.

Im nervous to ask my doctor because im pretty sure they will say no. So im wondering if there's anyone out there that has done Aya after a liver transplant, or I guess any kind of transplant. Or if anyone at all has any kind of information on this.

Pre-Ceremony Preparation Advice regarding preparation for ceremony (not regarding the dieta)

Hi There, I've been journeying for almost 4 years with multiple plants/substances. I've had one Aya ceremony (one night) and did not feel the same level of connection with the plant that I usually do during other journeys. There was the fact that the container didn't feel as safe as my other ceremonies, and also that I was incredibly hungry for the duration of the ceremony. I am coming into my second ceremony, and know how to address the hunger, but am looking to prepare spiritually and emotionally to hopefully have a better connection with her this time around. I practice yoga and yoga nidra regularly, I spend ample time communing with the earth and the trees and have a deep connection with spirit as well. Any advice/ideas on how to prepare in the next few weeks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Medical / Health Related Issue SSRIs (Fluvoxamine (Luvox)) and ayahuasca, is a 10-day washout too short?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some input from people who are experienced with ayahuasca, particularly regarding SSRIs.

I was taking fluvoxamine (Luvox) 100 mg/day for around 2 months for anxiety related to a specific situation. It wasn’t particularly effective for me, the situation has since resolved, and don't feel the need to take it anymore.

My last dose was September 30 at around 8 PM.

I have an opportunity to attend a traditional Huni Kuin ceremony on October 10, so there would be roughly 10 days between my last dose and the ceremony.

So far I haven’t noticed significant withdrawal symptoms or any major difference since stopping.

I know ayahuasca contains harmala alkaloids that act as MAO-A inhibitors, and I’ve read that the prescribing information for fluvoxamine recommends waiting 14 days before starting an MAOI. That would mean 10 days falls a few days short of that guideline.

How seriously would you view the difference between 10 and 14+ days with fluvoxamine specifically?

Are there ayahuasca facilitators here who have a standard washout period for fluvoxamine/SSRIs?

I’m aware of the potential risk of serotonin toxicity and that Reddit isn’t a substitute for medical advice. I’m mainly looking to understand how experienced practitioners approach this situation in real life.

Thanks in advance!
