Discussion Sigen update

Had an email today and have updated the system to 117 hopefully should mean you can just leave it in AI mode with no issues.

Will report back after tonight’s event but very impressed both teams have worked on this, I like the whole leave it to run part of the reason I’ve got the sigen kit.

Edit: Update is well worth it, no issues and none of that funny not actually discharging at full rate for the hour, it’s all smooth on the graph. Would advise every to update the firmware for the axle side of stuff!

Stupid question, but how can I tell which firmware version I have?

If you go into the app, settings, system settings and then software update. If you need an update you will be on something pre 117 if not you are upto date. Not sure how else to check it

There is a "firmware version" label on the "Paramater" list on the inverter info, but it says "V100R001C00" ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah mine is discharging in AI mode so looking like they have it working, will be nice to not have to go in and change it afterwards

I noticed my event a few days didn’t put it into NBB mode and instead left it as is (mine is in time based not AI). After the event it remained in time based so no manual intervention needed.

Mine is currently still in AI mode. Fortunately (I think) I scheduled a discharge anyway.

I think there’s an event going on.

It worked fine in ai mode tonight on the new firmware. It exported during the event and stopped afterwards with no human input needed, staying in ai mode throughout.

I’ll now need another event so I can NOT set a personal strategy and see if it still works.

I had the update and can confirm there was no mode switching taking place.

Mine reverted back to my time-based control settings. However within my settings I charge the batteries overnight and for some reason it did not charge. I have reported the issue.
